Neighbour House in renovation for a few months

Hi, to make it short, my neighbour has been renovating his house for the past few months, and all the while, caused water leakage from his side which eventually affected my walls. Me and my contractor discussed with the owner and finally fixed those problems.

But now have other problems after a few months, I don't see anyone renovating his place, so the house is like abandoned, and becoming a sleeping place for the stray dogs, and according to my contractor, an abandoned house is actually very dangerous and might affect my house in the future.

Anyone of you has such experience? And do you have any suggestion. It is getting worrisome.

Company delaying payment for car side windshield

Hi, I need help.

4 months ago my gf's car was hit by stones from grass-cutter and caused it to crack. It was caught on dashcam and we made a police report while at the same time informed the Company that hires those grass-cutter and they promised to pay it back, but need us to pay first and claim later. So, we use their recommended mechanic shop and pay for the fix ourselves.

But after more than 4 months they kept delaying the payment, the supervisor who is incharge of this matter kept said "akan transfer" but never paid.

Anyone of you have face this before? I would appreciate if anyone of you have any sort of advice.

Car Trade-in Process

Hi, I need an urgent help here because we have no experience in selling/trade in a car in our own place.

Is it normal or safe to have a car dealer to come to our place and get the car from us? We already in the process of buying a new car, and trading in the old car, so now the sales agent said we can choose to do the trade-in at our condo, so this means all the process (thumbprint etc) will be done in our condo.

My question is, is it normal or safe to do so? Anyone of you experience this before?

Buying Old Iphone After New Version Released

Hi, I'm thinking of buying an iPhone 13 after September in conjunction with the release of iPhone 15. Since I have never own an iPhone or follow up on its news, I wanna ask all sifus here is it better to buy it after the release of iPhone 15? I read many topics regarding this saying usually the price drop significantly after a new version comes out. Just want to know whether to buy now (already got discount at Machines) or wait till after IPhone 15 comes out (will it drop lower, more gifts or?)

Clogged Toilet in Old High Rise Condo

Sorry if this is not the place to ask, feel free to move this thread if needed.

Has anyone experience clogged toilet in high rise condo? Apparently I have tried calling the plumber a few times and they seem to can't fix it. They tried many methods and eventually resort to using a mop to push/clean the toilet pipe. It works for a day or two and it came back.

I suspect is the air vent/pressure problem. Any sifus here know any suggestion or can share personal experience on handling this? We have been bugged by this problem for many weeks, hope can listen to some suggestions.

Help? What to do in an accident?

A female friend of mine involve in a car accident just this morning.
This is how the story goes:

Its the morning and traffic is pack, and as she was driving around Old Klang Road heads to her office, an indian fella drove very fast and cut in from the traffic, according to her, the person drive very dangerously and fast, thus, many cars honk him, and when he cuts in from the right to my friend, the fella suddenly Emergency Break and my friend unable to break soon enough and slightly hit the back of the car of the fella. The fella later stop the the roadside to and walk out of his car, looking like waiting to "talk" to my friend. My friend who is a female afraid that the person might bully or hit her so she didn't stop and drove straight to the office. She told me that the fella's car isn't badly damage just maybe some bruises.

My question is, later tonight she'll go to report police at the accident area, but in such case, does she still needs to pay the RM 300 for report even this accident is the fella problem?

If the fella report to police first, what would happen to my friend?

Hi guys,

I'm currently thinking of starting a foodstall business. Do you guys know what I need to prepare/do to start?
Need as much advise from sifus here as possible.

The details are as follow:
1) Breakfast stall (western)
2) Venue: non-shopping mall places (foodcourt etc)
3) Target: Chinese and Indians (non-halal)

I used to visit a specific dentist but recently he has been away on vacation.

But for some reason, I can't wait till he's back.
So I'm thinking of visiting a random dentist, would that be a good thing to do?

I'm only going for a normal dental check up, so is it okay to not going to a specific dentist?
