Hi,

Please advise New PC Setup for my next 2-3 year. Current Rig use for rendering, gaming and surfing. Current Rig is build >3-8 year ago when student time for this time around didn't have luxury of time to do research.

Bottom line is best value for money setup and advise which part is bottleneck my current setup.

Hi,

I just got offer to work as System Engineer without any certificate (Diploma or Degree) but they give me test whether I got what it take and I pass but the salary is acceptable as I am without any certificate but have 4 year working experience doing networking, computer repairing and troubleshooting.

I just wanted to know whether further in diploma/degree in Computer studies or get Professional Certificate (CCNA, MCSE or etc) is the best ?

Another question is what type Studies/Certificate should I attend to upgrade my qualification and acknowledge my expertise.

My interest/expertise more on Network rather than programming.

Which Full Tower Case to choose ?

Hi Guy/Girl, I currently want to upgrade/change my old LIAN-LI V600S. Its serve good for me but kinda cramped case, need more space for upgrade. So, I choose to go for Full Tower case for space advantage.

Currently in my mind is Coolermaster ATCS 840 or Silverstone RAVEN both great case but cannot decide which case is the best for me. Not have opportunity to see this case personally because kinda far from KL right now.

So basically the purpose for this thread is to decide which one is offer best space and cable management. Also important is built quality and airflow (temperature).

Other case also can be recommendation to me as long not to out of range (money and space)

Last but not least, I would like to said thank your for your vote, comment and recommendation.

Can I want to ask you guy what is my other choice for PSU for spec in my signature. I already own strider but I got second rig to built identically like my spec but wanted to get other brand and price.

My concern is only on PSU because other hardware I can get second hand but PSU wanted a brand new.

Just want to ask you guy, how i can bridge my current setting. Right now the wireless router is suck. Wifi only can connect inside my room only. So, I think best choice is I use repeater or bridge my connection to other router.

So, can any one help me setup my network. Right now I want to know the right hardware only. I cannot find cheapest but best router that can full fill my requirement. BTW, WDS function is no-no to me because the option Globesurfer didnot has WDS function.

Recommendation for Budget Camcorder

I urgently needed a budget camcorder that cost me below than RM1000.

Its not that tight budget. If, i need to add a couple hundred its okay to me. As long as it value for money and fulfill my requirement.

My requirement is:
1. For recorder video to show it on Projector / LCD Monitor / TV only (not for video editing or pro use)
2. Easy to transfer to my PC (avi/mpeg format)
3. Can use tripod

The video quality i want:
1. Not like HD quality.
2. Just a good and sharp video quality
3. Picture is not blur or pixel like camera phone

Sound Quality:
1. Sharp sound
2. Less noise on background or environment

*Brand is not an important factor but value for money is the most important factor.

*P/S: I think for my budget i need to got for miniDV camcorder only

Hi,

I want to ask you all about software that I can use to manage my wireless network using login id and password. So i can made sure my network is use by known user only. Then, i can control their traffic.

Right now i only put wifi password (WPA) but i cannot control and know whose are online at that time and my network can be a lot secure because Wifi password (WPA) is not unique enough like login id and password.

So guy any software to recommend me ?
