DLINK DL-524 routerPort Forwarding issues

Hi, good day to all home networking sifus out there. I'm currently sharing an internet connection among 4 other housemates through a DL 524 router.

Recently we have found that ports opened from the router couldn't be shared/ or used simultaneously. Eg. When I'm using port 6881 for bittorent, other housemates would not be able to connect through port 6881 or 8000 for other applications.

This existing issue is relatively new, as I have not encountered this while i was using Netgear's router previously .

Anyone can help me resolve this issue, please? Many thanks in advance.
