KUALA LUMPUR: Model and television host Deborah Henry has been crowned Miss Universe Malaysia 2011, the second time she has won a national beauty contest.

“I am honoured and privileged to be representing Malaysia on the world stage,” said Deborah, who is of Indian-Irish descent.

“I’m in it to win. If I never take part, I will never know how far I will go for the rest of my life.”

The 26-year-old currently runs the Save the Kids Education Fund, an education centre for Somali refugee children.

Deborah, who won the Miss World Malaysia title in 2007, was selected by popular vote via the pageant’s official Facebook page combined with the views of a panel of judges.

The panel comprised Miss Universe Malaysia Pageant national director Andrea Fonseka, local actor Hans Isaac and Russian beauty expert Julia Dolmatova.

Fonseka, who was Miss Universe Malaysia in 2004, said they chose a contestant with experience as they did not have the time and resources to groom a greenhorn.

“There are no rules that say a former winner of another beauty pageant can’t join the Miss Universe pageant,” Fonseka said.

She added that Trincy Low, who won the Miss World Malaysia title in 1995, had also won the Miss Universe Malaysia title in 1997.

Other Miss Universe Malaysia 2011 finalists included Gail James, Cassandra Patrick, Jennifer Pedersen, Kelly Jagan, Mourhna Reddy, Patricia Sue-Lin Kundsen, Stefanie Chua and Thanuja Ananthan.

Deborah will represent Malaysia at the Miss Universe pageant in Sao Paolo, Brazil, in September.

Miss Universe Malaysia 2012 will also be crowned in September this year as part of the pageant’s new format that aims to provide more training for future contestants.

Fonseka said Latin American countries normally had up to 12 months to train their contenders while Malaysia had to complete the process in just three months.

“We believe future contestants will have a better shot at winning the Miss Universe title now that we have a longer period to train them,” she added.

Miss Universe Malaysia is part of the international Miss Universe franchise owned and managed by the Trump Organisation in a joint venture with NBC Universal.

i need to know
between this 3 telco line (Digi, Maxis and Celcom)
which one is better for mobile internet line?
i dont really use internet thru mobile 24hours..
maybe only for about 8 hours per day because my homeline is already got streanyx..
so i will use internet during outstation, officework or etc out of my home..
normally i wont download anything such as music, games, or what so ever..
i will only use the internet for FB, google, blogging, YM and foursquare..
i rarely make a call and sms..
so, on ur point of view,
which one is better for me to subscribe the mobile internet package between these 3 telco line?
any suggestion?

How To Get Rid of This of This Crush

I met someone and we became a close friends. Shared stories together. I am with someone before I met him. And he is with someone too.. But he never told me that he is dating someone.

Until one fine day, I break up with my love one, because he is dating with other girls. And yes, i am frustrated. being so down and feel like want to end up my life.

but, his (my close friend), he was there.. try to comfort me down, and gave me some advices.. to move on! and yes, i became stronger and better with him by my side.. a couple week later, after i break up.. he also break up with his gf and he proposed me. i was shocked! and ask him to gave me time..

and after make a long thougt, i accept him.. and i was lucky to in love with my own best friend.. a week as a couple, we were happy.. but it only last for a week.. because, then he dumped me.. for some reason which, i message his gf. and for that reason, he dumped me. he said, he doesnt want to be with anyone. he want to be alone.. but, he lied.. he back to his ex gf..

and seriously, i wish him to be happy.. wish him would never felt the hatred like i felt now.. wish his heart will always been took a good care of that girl.. and that girl was so damn lucky for me..

but, the problem is, no matter how much im letting him go, it just make me fall into him.. no matter how much hate i put on him, it just make him crossed my mind more often.. how am i going to get rid of this crush?

and the most crucial part is, he doesnt want to be friends with me anymore.. i dont mind to loose a boyfriend.. but i really regret for loosing a friend!
