Lenovo laptop screen flickering/flashing (SOLVED!)

Hi guys,

Out of the sudden, my laptop screen keep flickering/flashing almost all the time.

Lenovo ideapad 320S
Windows 10 home (original built in)

Then i connect with external monitor, switch to "Show 2 display only".. External monitor doing fine...

After I switched the mode to "duplicate display", my laptop screen keep flickering again..
However the external monitor seems ok..

but sometimes, if I continued to duplicate mode..
the external monitor display also got disrupted..

What I did since then:

1) Uninstall & reinstall the display driver.. still same..

2) I tried to flash BIOS but failed due to my BIOS already updated to the latest version

3) I update my windows to the latest version.. still same..

4) I checked whether there were something changed (such as windows update) when the problem occur but nothing found

5) I disable window reporting (suggestion from youtube).. same problem..

One more thing..
How to determine whether my screen monitor (hardware) is the problem or just some software problems?

What is the best discount for Honda City V 2015 ?

Hello LYN..

The past few months, I was thinking whether to get Honda City V or Preve Turbo..

For reliability, safety and fuel consumption, I heard that better go for City..
but Preve is cheaper about 20K and still can get safety and performance..

Since I have extra budget to spend, then I decided to go for City V spec..
I'm not looking to sell it in 5 years, so I think getting car at the end of the year will provide me less capital to spend..

I want to buy Honda City V spec 2015 this month..

Right now the best discount I have is RM6500 cash rebate..
unfortunately V spec was sold out..

So anyone know SA who offer best discount for Honda City V 2015?

I'm not desperate to buy this month but if I get interesting offer then why not..

[Urgent] Failed to restore back to factory setting

Helo guys..
Need urgent help regarding to my Acer Aspire laptop..

Problem:

Cannot restore back to factory setting !!

What actually happened:

I just took my laptop from Acer Center..
change hard disk.. under warranty..
new or 2ndf hand I really dun know..

I request them to back up data..
So there are 2 partitions.. C and D..

I want to create new partitions..
I tried to use Partition Master but didn't work..
can't push the create button unless I format the D partition..
that time already have 100 gb unallocated space..

After google search..
I manage to create partition by using windows disk management..
but the problem is all C,D and I partitions turn to dynamic disk!
I cannot adjust anything using Partition Master software..

I back up all the data again using external HDD..
then I click restore back to factory default function.. (after reboot and push F8 button)..

Error occur!

"This tools in failed to run"

tried many times but same error occured..
at last I install new Win 7 Professional windows..
the default windows for my lappy is Home Premium (ori and come with lappy)..

after install completed..
I tried to find the "restore back to factory setting" function but gone!
the function disappear!!

So what should I do now??
I want my windows to be restore back like I first bought it..

and the dynamic drive is really bother me!

Annoying ads box on left right bottom of firefox!

Hi,

I have browser security issue on my laptop..

look at here:

there are 2 ads box appear on right and left bottom corner of my firefox..
only happened on firefox..

most of the time.. ivilid ads will appear..
sometimes when I click the link on the browser (not the ads), it will redirect me to certain ads page..
very annoying..

since this happened..
my laptop already forced shut down for several times..
maybe something to do with heat but I think these malware also contributes..

full scan kis 2012 not cure..
full scan MBAM not cure..
full uninstall/reinstall firefox not cure..

sim/usim card has not been detected or is invalid

Hi,

I'm getting error on my celcom broadband modem.

Modem: Huawei e1550
Sim: CELCOM SKMM

error "the sim/usim card has not been detected or is invalid"

This happened after few days ago, I update the huawei e1550 netfirm..

I use win 7 64 bit..

maybe the update firm is for version 32 bit..

I test simcard with hp and other broadband and it works..
I test broadband with other simcard and it works..

so what happened??
I have no idea now.. :-(

Display driver stopped responding error!

Hi,

I got this error few starting from few months back:

1) Windows suddenly turn into black color (blank dark screen) for a while

2) Then the windows is normal back with this message appear on the bottom right corner:

My laptop specifications:

Acer Aspire 4738G
Intel Core i5-460M processor
Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit
ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5470 512 MB (Driver version: 8.741.1.5000)

Laptop age: 1 Dis 2010

Starting from last month, I also face another error.
My laptop sometimes completely freeze, stuck and can't do anything even open task manager.
After 30 minutes waiting also not ok.
Then I just reboot the laptop using switch on button.
So BAD!

So what is the problem and what should I do now?
