Dear Sifu,

I am using unifi prepaid and plan to upgrade to unifi air. Right now I outstation for 2-3 mth and need a MiFi.

Any recommendation? I don't want to use my phone as a hotspot because it cut off when calls come in.

1) The MiFi shall be able to share the internet to a desktop via USB cable.
2) The MiFi shall be able to use without a battery
3) Only 1-2 devices will connect to this modem.

Prefer to get it on lazada,

1) the MiFi shall be able to mod ( in future i can use it without the hotspot limit)

Hi I am current using unifi .

I plan to change to digi home fiber as it cost cheaper and higher speed. 300 mbps compare(digi) to 100 mbps (unifi)

However anyone is using digi home fiber ?There is no review available.

Hei guy, lets debate.
For example, your dad give you an apple watch as a graduation give. Will you sell it and get a better apple watch after one year ?

Please note that the present in this case it something you use everyday and it is a electronic item. It does not have any marking to differentiate to similar product.

My point of view is, I will just sell it and upgrade to a new series.

edit: my dad said i will pay anything u like. So i pick it myself and get it from lazada. He didn't involve in choosing the present.

PETALING JAYA: Smoking at open-air mamak and hawker stalls may be illegal from December. The Health Ministry is trying to make these eateries no-smoking zones.

The ministry is pushing to gazette all open-air restaurants as no-smoking areas, said Deputy Health Minister Dr Lee Boon Chye.

The gazettement is not only to encourage smokers to kick the habit, but also to protect non-smokers from second-hand smoke due to tobacco products.

“No doubt smokers will say they have the right to smoke, but non-smokers also have the right to have smoke-free areas,” he said.

Dr Lee announced the ministry’s intention to gazette al fresco restaurants as no-smoke zones under the Control of Tobacco Product (Amendment) Regulations 2017 at the Dewan Negara on Wednesday.

The Gopeng MP is also seeking his fellow MPs’ support to shut down the smoking room in Parliament by October.

He hopes the smoker MPs will take the opportunity to quit smoking.

“This gazettement is Malaysia’s commitment as a member state to the Framework Convention on Tobacco Control and adheres to the guidelines under Article 8 of the World Health Organisation (WHO),” he added.

Dr Lee said the ministry has received positive feedback over the proposal.

“During our engagement with industrial peers, coffee shop and restaurant owners had some reservations but the general public are open towards the plan,” he said.

The current Control of Tobacco Product (Amendment) Regulations 2017 prohibits smoking in 21 areas including hospitals, public toilets, lifts, government premises as well as air-conditioned shops and offices. Others include parks and government premises.

Those caught smoking at prohibited areas can be fined RM10,000 or jailed for not more than two years.

Consequence of cancel CC

I saw there is an offer at ringgit plus which give free drone when I apply Standard Chartered CC.

My plan is to register, fulfill the requirement, get the drone and cancel the card.

May I know what is the consequence for this kind of action. Will it affect CTOS score or next CC application will be harder or nothing??? Please advise

Any expert could recommend wifi solution ?

I am using Aztech HL 113 EW Homeplug for sometime btw I got it from my cousin. It works ok but sometime it like to hang especially when I am playing Overwatch comp (qp dont have this kind of problem ) for no reason (the led stop blinking and connection is lost). I also stream gameplay too.

I tried to update the firmware but no luck, any sifu got solution for the problem or should I just replace the homeplug. Please provide the recommended hardware.

BTW I plan to install TPlink WA 901ND but the cable solution is quite a hassle and it does not support 5 ghz wifi (good to have but my house have too many wall) .

Budget 100-200.

P/s: should i buy it from lazada, try it, if not suitable, ask for refund.
