Hey forumer,

Now I am using DELL S2340l monitor with my Lenovo Y400 and Y580 ( laptop swapping around ) .

I planned to buy one more same monitor as to make it two external monitor .

Is there any method via HDMI only ? as I know DVI output resolution will be bad compare to HDMI .

Any sifu can advise me ?

Hi all ,

Currently I have a old C2D desktop and I have a lenovo Y580 swap SSD .

Now I am thinking to replace the desktop with Y580 as desktop replace

Other than that , I also planned to get one Y400/Y410 (also will be swap SSD) for my school use .

Hence this is my setup :

-Y580 swap SSD with 1TB caddy drive 2nd storage( desktop replacement)

-Y400/Y410 swap SSD ( for school usage )

-Two Dell U2412m IPS monitor

-Hotway hotbox 4bay hard disk storage ( using hard disk from the desktop as a storage space. Contain 1 TB , 2 TB and 320gb hard disk )

SSD will be using kingston SSD 120GB for Y400 and 240GB is already on the Y580

Question I want to ask :

Does one laptop can extend to two external monitor ( laptop screen is close down) .

Does Q9400 still worth ?

Hi all ,

Recently I spot one good condition Q9400 was on sale at the garage sale section . The price of the Q9400 was quite ok for me .

I would like to ask is it worth to still upgrade from E8400 @3.3GHZ to a Q9400 will OC @ 3.2GHZ worth the price ?

450W psu
Normal ATX casing

As now I got my laptop Y580 with SSD as my editing pc . Is it still worth to upgrade to Q9400 compare to rebuilding a new machine I7 4-Gen . As I don't have quite a lot of budget .

My desktop is currently for normal daily use and some video and photo editing use .

Hi all,

currently I am planing to get a performance laptop to replace my current 4 years old C2D desktop .

I want to ask which one is better G55 or Y580 .Because they had the same spec just in term of price .I will be swaping 120GB SSD into it so the stock HDD storage capacity does not become so important .

BTW,I want to ask does this a good setup for me

D-LINK NAS with 1TB HDD (taken from my desktop)
LG 24 inch HD monitor for secondary display
external gaming keyboard and mouse.

Recently ,I am planing to get a pair of T5720 walkie talkie .
I want to ask :

1) if I am at a field which is about 300m long ,I stand at one end of the field and my friend stand at one end .can I still receive his voice ?
2) Can I still receive if I am in the field and I want to contact the person who is few block away (2-3 block ) which is about 100m away .
3) Any good and bad about this Product ??

no need hard disk I will use back my 320GB and 1TB
ANTEC kuhlor 920 liquid cooler
CM siliencio 550 or ANTEC P280

I want to ask does these is a good setup for 3 years ahead or even more

Does CM siliencio 550 can fight with P280 that is release not long ago (don fight with the price ) .

Can give me some suggestion about these two casing .I need a quite casing .Because I already had a CM690 generation 1 that is really a dust magnet .
