How your HR handle quarantine staff?

More staff need to quarantine due to close contact.
i would like to know how is your company/HR handle this, does it consider MC? or deduct your leave?

please take note that, not every job scope able to WFH, the staff i mentioned above cannot WFH.

maybe i should split into 2 scenario:

1. close contact status show in mysejahtera: of course company will ask him stay home as per mysejahtera.

2. his mysejahtera show normal, but he inform you family member who stay at the same house is positive. in this case company will ask him stay home quarantine and continue to do monitor and use test kit to test.

Can company/HR consider his quarantine period as MC? paid leave? what happen if he used up all his MC / paid leave?

perhaps there is an official guideline from our gov on this issue? i tried google, i just cant find guideline for this.

Spoiled Home Theater - DVD player

so i have this old set home theater: a player come with 5.1 system.
now the player is dead, and im sure the 5.1 speaker are OK.

now the player is dead, any creative thing i can do or try with this 5.1speaker?
because i feel kinda waste to throw away even tho just a low end speaker.

New car comes with so called "warranty"

Undertsand that new car comes with warranty, say 3years or 5 years.
But during this period, you have to bring your car back to service center / authorize service center to do the service.

I been hearing from ppl around me (city, vios owner), that the charges for service is quite expensive, spare part (wear and tear) also very expensive.

Share with me your experience / comment on this, anyone here really skip this and go for 3rd party during warranty period? Thanks.

me and wife plan to go trip on next year end of March, planing to go there for a week,
currently we still deciding whether to go Japan or Korea. i dont really into this 2 country so i dont really know about this 2 country (of course i did google and i will google more later).

things that i concerned:
- budget
- air ticket (price almost the same for both, ive checked in airasia)
- expense (not included shopping, just normal meal and expense)
- accommodation/hotel
- transportation
- place of interest

seeking some advise from those who went to this 2 country recently, share me some experience of your as per the thing i concern, or anything that you think you would like to share with me.

Telekom Malaysia is leading the band of 16 other companies and says the connection will "provide an alternative and a more secure link for traffic from the region to the U.S.A. ... This low-risk route was designed to avoid the volatile and hazardous Pacific Ring, thus mitigating the effects from natural disasters like earthquakes and tsunamis."

Alcatel-Lucent and NEC have been awarded the contract for the development of the link. The fiber optic cable is already under construction and is projected to begin operating in December 2008.
