Need Advise - Sound system for HT

Dear all the guru here, I need some help on purchasing a new set of sound system for my HT in my living room. The set-up is for me to watch astro, listen to "astro MTV" songs and watching some DVD. Btw, I am not a hardcore user. Currently I,m only using a Sony 37 inch LCD TV and the sound is "just bad" / "bassless".

Over the last few weeks, I have went to shop to try HTIB and separate set. HTIB sound "a bit flat" and of course the separate set is awesome but it's much more expensive.

Basically, I do not want too many cables lying arounds my living room (as I prefer neat and tidy space). After from HTIB and separate set, I also considering soundbar and even those PC speakers (ie. Harmon Kardon Soundbar II) to connect direct to my LCD TV. Please advise what should I get as I,m really lost now.

Budget: Maximum is RM4k.

Peference: Something neat to look at.

My ICE got noise (in radio mode)

Guys, i really need urgent help here. I understand there are few topic regarding the "aeroplane sound". But my situation is a bit different. My ICE got this "zak zak zak" sound when my engine is running, and it only happened to my radio mode. If I play CD, there will be no noise.

(This also mean if i turn on my radio without starting my engine, there is be no noise)

This is my current setup.

Pioneer DEH-P5850MPH
MB Quart Component Set
MB Quart 3 ways 6x9 speaker
Rockford Fosgate Woofer

My Component set and wooder powered by Blaupunkt GTA450 4 channels amp. (2 channel for front and 1 channel bridge for woofer)

Now this "noise" really iritating me. How can i get rid of it? Is it due to unproper grounding (after i install my amp)? All the sifu, pls help!

At the same time, will a capasitor help in this situation?

Changing 2nd hand car

Guys....l,m in a dilemma now as want to change 2nd hand car or not.

Currently I,m got 2 offers (Honda Accord and Proton Waja) both selling at RM31.5k.

Honda Accord 2.2 CD
Pro
- interior is very clean
- low mileage
- nice sound proff (compare to proton car)
- Honda (non-proton)

Con
- non Vtec (less pickup power compare to Waja 1.8)
- Rim might need to change (not in perfect condition)
- Year 1996/7 (already 10 years)

Proton Waja 1.8
Pro
- Leather seat with clean interior as well
- Very powerful pick-up
- Airbag and ABS
- Year 2003

Con- It's proton again (and affraid got Proton's problem suck as power window)

And my current car Iswara Aeroback
Pro
- Just change new aircond cooling coil last week (cost me RM5xx).
- Installed a power steering (cost me nearly RM1k)
- Changed to crystal headlamp already
- Just re-spray whole car last year
- Cheap roadtax (less than RM100 as only 1.3)
- No need to spend around RM30k to change car

Con
- Very noisy (lot of sound come out from the body)
- It's old already (year 1994 if not mistaken)
- A bit underpower (compare to the above 2 cars)

Pioneer LCD monitor

Guys....i got a LCD monitor which is for car. However....the conector is diffrent what what i thought (RCA video). As refer to the picture, how can i connect this monitor?

Erm.....no one know how to install this? (i did gogle but all of the sites are japanese.... )

What is the diffrent between Component Set

Guys....l know there is a lot of ICE player here. l,m not a heavy ICE player so dont really know what is the diffrent between Component set and 2 or 3 ways speaker.

Okay..let's put is this way. 6.5inch component (including 1 crossover and 1 tweeter) vs 6.5inch 2 way speaker.

Beside that, is it suitable to place component set at the rear board or rear door? l know this is weird so.....just give some of ur suggestion k.

Actually can anyone define what is the use of 2 ways speaker? Does it produce bass? Or treble? (since it got a tweeter on top of it)

My player been stolen for 2nd time

Haiz....wish to share this you all of you (ICE Kaki). Tonight l parked my car at the car park and go down to buy some magazines for a while. When l came back, my Pioneer DEH-6500 has been stolen. They smashed up my kancil left side passenger window and stole eveything.
The worst thing is this is not the 1st time. This is the 2nd time in half year time. !st time they stoled my 4 series Pioneer HU.

So now l think l,m going to tell myself to say bye bye to ICE. l cannot stand this anymore. besides losing some $$ due to those ******* (whish l wish they can root in hell), my heart feel so painful. l spend so much time to tune and do this and that.

Now l got last question to ask those Myvi owner (if they happend to drop by). Since l,m going to take out my 6.5inch component set, can they fit into my Myvi?

Sound proff for ICE

Well, l,m not sure this topic has been discuss before or not.

For a good ICE system, l know a good sound proff is a must for our local made car.

As l know, there is Dynamat, Lightning Audio in the market.

Can anyone list down the price and variety of the sound proff mat here?

Actually...l dont know what is the diffrent between class D and mono amp?

Today, l just bought a Blaupunkt Velocity Class D 2/1 channel amp to drive my sub. Is that a good choice? Or should l get monoblock amp instead?
