high blood pressure vs fat

i was checked by the trainer at California Fitness and he noticed that i had high fat and high blood pressure .
May i know is high fat causing high blood pressure?
If i do cardio to burn off my fat, is it possible to control my blood pressure.
I knew doctor must ask to eat medicine but i dun wan to stick to the medicine

p/s: I am 27 years old only, worrying when he told me that my blood pressure is extremely high.
