Hi, lately when I'm using my pc to do work/surfing/watching anime/etc my psu sometimes will make a creepy sound. Its more like a slow buzzing sound like a bee or like a fly buzzing around. Kinda worried about it. Btw, been using my psu almost 8 month. 3-4 times per week using my PC and each session is around 8-12 hours.

Anyone has any idea regarding to this matter?

Below is my specs:

PSU: CoolerMaster GX 650W 80+ Bronze
Proc: Intel i5 3570k
Mobo: Asrock Z77 Fatal1ty Professional
RAM: Corsair Vengeance 2x4GB
HDD: 2TB WD Blue
GPU: Sapphire HD7970

Good day sifus and readers.

Since it is my friend pc, I will try my best to describe the problem.

So, here's the case. My friend was playing game such as NFS Shift 2 and Ghost Recon Future Soldier. Suddenly the game freeze and the system shutdown itself. After few time the same thing happened, there are totally no display at all.

What happen next is he removed his graphic card and bring it over to my house to test it on my rig. When I test it, the graphic card is working fine under idle situation. Then I open some HD movie and let it play for quite some time. Still no problem. I tried to play some game such Dragon Age 2, ANNO 2070 and The Witcher-Enhanced Edition. The card is working fine as I do not push it to the max resolution (cause scare I might damage the card as my intention is just to see whether the card got display or not).

Then I asked him to bring over his entire system to my house as I fear there might be other hardware failure such as ram, mobo or power supply. We checked the ram, it was fine. (even tested the ram on my rig).

Next, we put back his card and rams back to the original pc. Using my monitor, the system is working normally. My friend even plays some game to test his system again. No problem, no freeze at all..

Later on at his house, we found out that his monitor is spoiled due to no display at all. We took another monitor and the pc running normally. Then, same thing happened again as for now. We even recorded the graphic card's fan using phone and found out that the fan suddenly stopped and at the same time, the game will freeze then the system shutdown itself.

My concern is the card might spoiled and I do not know much about hardware failure. Any sifu can give any idea about this situation? (except buying a new card cause that is what i have in mind currently.. hehe)

Hello to all sifus.

I just wanna ask for your recommendation. I am planning to upgrade my system due to my graphic card compatibility. I just learned that gen3 graphic card requires gen3 mobo and processor to show its full potential. As for now, I am using gen2 mobo+processor.

I am using my pc for simple multitasking, a bit of rendering and calculating. I am not much of a gamer but i do play game such as dragon age 2, nfs, kingdom of amalur, fifa12, mass effect 3, etc..

My current system is: AMD A83870k 3.30GHz
ASUS F1A75-V PRO
ASUS EAH6850 HD
8GB of RAM
650W of psu
the rest is normal.

Since I have a new graphic card which is sapphire hd 7970, I need to upgrade my system which is my proc+mobo. I need sifus recommendation and guidance to buy new mobo and processor.

Hello to all sifus, I am planning to buy myself a new PC. Since its my first time please give comments on my choices:

Motherboard : ASUS F1A75-V Pro
Processor : AMD Llano A Series A8-3850 4M 2.9GHZ
Graphic Card: SAPPHIRE HD 6790 1GB GDDR5 or SAPPHIRE VAPOR-X HD6850
RAM : Crossair Vengeance DDR3,1600MHz 4GB CL9
PSU : AEROCOOL Strike-X Series 500W

The other components I think I can sort myself. Just asking for these major parts. Please give me your recommendation. I am kinda concerned about the PSU though. Thanks in advance!

Camera Operation Failed

Hello to all N900 sifus. I'm having this problem since last week. My camera application wont run. It said "Camera Operation Failed". I tried to uninstall all imaging application like BlessN900, FCAM, Lowlight, HDRCapture, etc. Reboot my phone then still the same problem occur. Any idea how to fix this?

Btw, i'm using kernel power 46 and i don't OC my phone just using the stock cpu configuration.
