UTAR Ride 4 Charity

UTAR Ride 4 Charity is the first charity cycling event organised by the Student Representative Council (SRC) of Universiti Tunku Adbul Rahman (UTAR).
This event aims to collect funds for UTAR's Student Welfare Fund (SWF) which helps poor and needy students of UTAR.

The event will be held on 10th March 2013 from 6.00 am to 1.00 pm. The distance for the ride is approximately 30 Kilometers with 100% tarmac surfaces.
As this event is a leisure ride, male and female of all ages are welcomed to join.
All types of bicycles are allowed to join in this event which ranges to racing bikes, mountain bikes and casual folding bikes.

100% of the profit from the registration and sponsorship will directly go to UTAR's Student Welfare Fund.

Registration Details :
Registration Closing : 1st March 2013
Registration Fees : Rm 30 (Inclusive of a T-shirt, Cycling Helmet by Raleigh, goodies and entry into the lucky draw)

Lucky draw will be conducted after the cycling event has ended and all participants has returned to the starting point.
The prizes to be won are worth more than Rm10,000!
Grand prize : SHIMANO Components
Second prize : RALEIGHT Bike (MTB)
Third prize : CATEYE accessories
And lots more prizes to be won!

Method to register:

Public :-

1. Participants have to bank in the registration fee to our Maybank account.
Account Number: 158042-714990 (Chew Sook Ying)

2. After participants has banked in to our account above. Please attach the following details to our email utarride4charity@yahoo.com

i. Name
ii. Identity Card Number (IC)
iii. Gender
iv. Contact number
v. Bank-in statement(Picture/Scan) / Electronic banking (Printscreen of transaction)

Confirmation of Payment:

- Once the payment is confirmed, UTAR Ride 4 Charity will reply by sending a registration number to the participants through E-mail.
- In addition, a registration form will also attached to the Email.
- Participants are required to download the form, complete the form and bring it during the redemption period (4th - 9th March 2013)
Participants can also check their status on the top right hand corner of our blog.

Redemption Details:
Redemption period will last for six days. Participant are required to come and redeem the goodies during redemption period.

Date : 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th and 9th March 2013
Time : 10:00am – 4:00pm (Monday to Friday)
10:00am – 10:00pm only for 9th March 2013 (Saturday)
Venue : UTAR Heritage Building, Block A (A008)

Map / Location* :
This event will be held in Kampar and its starting point will be UTAR PERAK CAMPUS, the route will continue on until TEMOH and back to UTAR PERAK CAMPUS
The route has 100% tarmac roads and will have checkpoints for first aiders and water stations.
The route will have police officers and RELA personnels to watch over the safety of the cyclist.

Need serious help!

Help needed seriously as per title.

My housemates and myself are staying in a hostel which we share a 2M streamxy line.
The router that we are using is from Cisco.

Everything was going fine until we had a really big argument over some pretty serious stuff.
Its like me and my friends are on one side while another two which shares the same room is on the other.

So bla bla bla...
Then it started!
They started to use PPS/P2P/Linecontroller/ Downloads and stuff making our life miserable.
Loading one freaking page of google is also a miracle if it succeeds in 10 seconds!
EVERYTIME we unplug his cable. Our line is as smooth as a babies bottom.
Even though we have 4 people using it. But everytime we plug his cable back.
The horror happens.

Help pls!

Btw. he denies using those software.

Is there any way to limit his line so that a fair distribution of bandwidth is achieved?

I was on my laptop and on facebook. And then suddenly the screen went all blur n started to go into multicoloured vertical lines. Need help!
I tried restarting with n without the battery.
