In the event that both teams drop the same map, the Referee will randomly select a map to be dropped.

Crossfire Intel Challenge 7: Malaysian Edition

We are pleased to announce the Crossfire Intel Challenge 7: Malaysian Edition, scheduled to take place from the 5th of March, till the 7th of March 2010, at Blitzone Cyber Cafe Damansara Jaya.

It is with great pleasure that I can today announce the expansion of the Crossfire Challenge series with the addition of the Crossfire Intel Challenge Malaysian edition. Running on the same dates as CIC7 in Enschede the Malaysian edition will feature CoD4, CS & Quakelive as its primary games.

The event will be held in the city of Petaling Jaya, Selangor at the Blitzone Cyber Cafe with over 140 Gaming specification PC's across the 5th to the 7th of March. The event is expecting to draw in over 50 teams across its various game titles and will be the first Crossfire Challenge to take place outside of The Netherlands. Over the coming weeks you can expect to see more integration of the event into Crossfire.

We have partnered with experienced Malaysian event organisers (Electronic Sport Professionals, ESP), responsible for a number of successful events in the past including WCG & ESWC Qualifiers who will be charged with what could be the beginning of a regular event in Malaysia. The expansion of the Crossfire Challenge to include Intel as a title sponsor has brought with it renewed expansion opportunities for the future and the option to run the Malaysian Challenge was one that I couldn’t turn down. Though it should be stated that the operation of the Malaysian edition has no standing on the operation of the Dutch event nor the budget for it.

Registration fees are at RM30/Person and RM150/team. As this is an event with NO BUDGET and being organized for the community, by the community, 80% of the registration fees will go into the Prize Pot. More teams sign up, the bigger the Prize Pot.

Hi guys, I am in need of some help here.

I have been spending the better part of the afternoon looking for a software, which I can view/display my i8910's screen onto my desktop.

Doing a search on google only turned up "My Mobiler" which unfortunately only works with Windows Mobile type handphones. Trawling through over other Symbian sites didnt help much either.

Would be great is someone could point me in the direction of a "My Mobiler" type software for a Symbian OS phone.

Today, the World Cyber Games officially announced its games that will feature in 2007. It corrects its earlier mistake in releasing an incorrect list of games on the WCG's official website.

Despite earlier announcement of the official game list, it proved that the WCG made the mistake of prematurely releasing wrongful information on their official website. The WCG corrected its earlier mistake in their official press release.

The correction included that on the XBOX 360 platform, Tony Hawk Pro Skater 8 will not make its appearance at the Grand Finals in Seattle, USA. The WCG have not commented on why this game was initially on the list and today was excluded or on the fact what caused the error.

That leaves the following game list as official and accurate:

PC Games:
WarCraft III : The Frozen Throne
StarCraft : Brood War
Half-Life : Counter-Strike
FIFA Soccer 2007
Need for Speed Carbon
Command & Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars
Age of Empires III: The WarChiefs

Console Games:

Project Gotham Racing 3

World Cyber Games Adds Two More Disciplines

After a couple of weeks of confusion, including the release of two prior "official" listings, the World Cyber Games 2007 has announced its third and, hopefully, final game list.

Tony Hawk's Project 8 was originally added through a website error and subsequently removed from the list, but the WCG process is complete; THP8 is back on the list.

Also added is Carom3D, an online multi-user billiard game. The game was "created with special 3D graphic effects bringing every aspect such as 6 ball, 9 ball, 8 ball and other billiard games to life," according to the WCG release. "You can play with players from more than 100 countries."
