Recommendation for home networking problem

Hello Sifu Sifu, need some of your opinions and recommendation here for my home networking problem

Issue
My Asus N12HP is now used as my wireless + router and now using ddns for cctv giving me high CPU and Ram usage and needs restart once in a while because of unstable wifi or modem is connected to internet. At peak, there will up to 20 wireless devices connecting to the wifi at home. Sometimes, I need to reboot more than once daily to refresh the devices - I have even set daily reboot at 4PM everyday. And the wireless is not giving good range now to connect till downstairs now, so I'm thinking of an upgrade. LAN connected devices doesn't have issue with internet connection.

Current Setup
1. Unifi Home 50MBps in a double story terrace house
2. Asus N12HP used as Modem + Router + Wifi + DDNS for CCTV (6 devices connected to a separate NVR)
3. Up to 20+ may be connected at once

Solution
1. Get an all-in-one wireless + router
2. Get a router (maybe mikrotik) and use the Asus N12HP as a wireless AP
3. Get a router and a separate wireless AP - one AP upstairs (new) and another downstairs (existing N12HP)
4. Waiting for sifu sifu opinions

CPU Fan running maximum speed

Any idea how to fix a PWM fan?

I am having issue with my Scythe 92MM PWM fan which came with my Katana CPU cooler. For no apparent reason, the RPM of the fan have been maximum for a couple of days. Noticed the problem when the fan noise is too apparent. At first thought was dust, but the fins of the Katana seems very clean to me, no big ball of dust blocking those fins. Some more, the Mobo and CPU temperature has always been around 38-45 celcius but still maximum 2700RPM which is sibeh noisy. Usually it used to be quiet, running around 1600-1700 rpm with my last Hardware Monitor Log in October. According to scythe website, the fan that came with the cooler should have a working RPM of 600-2500RPM.

Even tried to go to BIOS to change the fan setting to silent mode and manually change to 0% speed, but not responding at all. It just went maximum 2600-2700RPM all the way. Change from CPU1 4 Pin port to Chasis 4 Pin port also the same result.

Tubular Door Handle Set

I am having problem with my current lock set at home and would like to change it. After doing some research, the door lock that I am using is call the Tubular Door Handle Set. The lock is fine, just that handle set I am changing it. It does not have any lock the handle set as it is a separate piece.

What I notice is that it requires an extra drill hole at the bottom (circled above) to screw the handle set in place. Any idea whether the size of the handle set for the holes is the same across all brand door handles? If I buy a similar handle set, do i need to drill a hole again if the length of the holes are not the same?

Tripod Head Replacement

Hello guys,

I hope so you guys here can enlighten me a bit here. I'm using an old Vivitar tripod- my dad's one. About 15 + years old.

The good thing is the tripod is solidly metal-ly built. But the plastic parts of the tripod is deteriorating. And today, the head part Broke.

I want to know whether it can be replaced. Third part or whatever brand. The head only. And, is it expensive to change one? Hmmm.
