Printer Selection - Home Use

I would like to buy a printer for home use (e.g.. for normal photo and documents printing); prefer malfunctions, Print, Scan and Copy.

Currently, I am eyeing the following two models
Cannon MG-3570 (price Cheaper) or MG-5570 (Separate Ink Tank; saving more on ink?)

May I know which model is more economical (long run costing) and with better output quality?
Is there any other better choice (in term of economical and quality)? I have no concern on the brain but really worry about the maintenance and ink costing....

Thanks a lot for any feedback/comments.
