Definitely getting one for my wife, but the problem is that they do not ship outside of the US.

I am tying the knot in two months' time! Super excited!!! The planning and everything are done and dusted, now finalising our guests list and mailing out invitation cards.

One thing I am extremely proud of is that all things related to the wedding -- from wedding favours to invitation cards and even the design of our wedding bands -- were DIY-ed between my future wife and I, as we wanted to make it personal. Yes, there were minor disagreements during the process, but we were able to overcome them after voicing out our opinions.

My future wife and I are extremely grateful that neither of our parents got involved in the planning, and they were very cooperative and understanding all the time. All we did was let them know our plan and they happily gave their blessings.

So yea, go ahead with your questions and I hope that I will be able to help shed some light on them.

Hi /k/ electricians and electrical engineers.

I am buying a dryer, with a rated power of 2600W.

The dryer comes with a 15A round-pin plug.

Since current drawn = power requirement/supply voltage = 2600W/230V = 11.3A, is it safe to change the round-pin plug to a 13A square-pin plug?

This is because my house does not have an outlet for the round-pin plug.

Kindly keep trolling to a minimum.

My plan is to have a Western-style kind of ceremony in a mansion with close friends and family.

Personally, I don't think it make sense to put up a clown show to let others laugh and make fun of the groom and his buddies.

I came across this particular anime: Grave of the Fireflies.

Anime fan kambing in quick!

Hi /k/.

So yesterday I went and enjoy an evening of orchestral pleasure at the Botanic Gardens.

The theme was Miyazaki in the Park.

Personally I am not a fan of anime and I don't know who Miyazaki is, but went there nonetheless cuz my fiancée watched the movies before and she wanna bring back some of her childhood memories.

The turnout for the evening was H-U-G-E!

The orchestra played Theme and Selections from My Neighbour Totoro for the encore and it really got the concertgoers in a party mood.

Almost everybody waved their flashlights to the tune of Totoro's theme...truly a sight to behold.

And it got me tearing up a little because of the awesomeness.

You know, the overwhelming feeling when you see something great happening in front of you, accompanied by the sounds of the orchestra.

Being the asshole that he is, he has this to say:

Since you guys debate the ending of Legal Mavericks on my Ali Lee tered, I have decided to open a separate topic for this.

Cuz I am also interested to know what other viewers think of the ending, especially on Never's "death".

For me, Never did not die lahh because Hope Man denied that the corpse found by the police is Never, and there is no funeral for her.

Since Never is one of the main actress in this drama, kalo dah mati TVB has to give its viewers some closure on this character.

But no, no funeral, no concrete proof that she died.

Gogo and everyone assume that she is dead cuz until then, her body is yet to be found.
