In the Collections Supervisor role, you will be responsible for overseeing as well as participating in the daily processes of the Collections department. This individual will ensure collections tasks are completed timely, provide task priorities to the team, assist with problem resolution, assist in leadership responsibilities, and ensure company and departmental policies are followed. As part of the Global Financial Operations team the ideal candidate will need to have strong written and verbal communication skills and be a detail-oriented problem solver with the ability to multi-task. We are looking for a team-player who enjoys working closely with other departments in an ever-changing environment.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Supervision and performance of daily collection department functions, including assignment of work queues, management of escalation cases and monitoring of collector workloads and performance against metrics
Review and create cases related to credit notes for late reconciliation requests by hotels
Responsible for overseeing staff, including but not limited to fielding questions, providing task priorities, and problem resolution
Meet with each direct report at least weekly to discuss issues and escalation cases
Actively participate in interviewing and hiring employees
Facilitate the training of employees and ensure training manuals are updated
Lead and coach team utilizing formal performance reviews and one-on-ones while leading by example
Prepare monthly presentations on portfolio performance for discussion with leadership team
Ensure company and departmental policies are followed
Monitor staff productivity goals and expectations
Correspond with Market Managers, PAC/GSO team, corporate contacts, and properties on escalated issues
Make collection calls on Top Revenue hotels; send emails and faxes to Top Revenue hotels regarding commissions due on a daily basis
Communicate with Top Revenue hotels in various countries, as required
Manage assigned account base in regard to commission collections, maintain up-to-date contact information for hotels assigned to you
Complete special projects as assigned
Other duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications:
University degree in related field
2 - 5 years previous supervisory experience
Fluent English. Other language skills related to Asia Pacific (APAC) countries will be an added advantage.
Previous collections experience
Previous travel industry experience
Extensive knowledge of basic computer programs including Excel, Word, and Outlook
Detail-oriented, organized, efficient and able to multi-task
Excellent problem-solving, analytical and mathematical skills
Positive attitude, goal-oriented, and able to work with minimal supervision
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent interpersonal skills

Honda Repair not done properly

Recently I met with an accident and have sent the car for honda workshop for the full repair. Cost 30k. However they took 2 months to repair whereby most of the time delay due to too many cars. Each time I visit the car it will be in a parking and no work is done.

Then finally after 2 months I received the car in disgusting condition, oil stains and sands on seats, repair work not done properly, a lot of repairs has been missed or like Scrathes and deep cuts in skirting, brakes and suspension making noise.

With all these, can I file a case to tribunal? or maybe to honda Malaysia to start with?

I also doubt they change the entire things as per the 30k claim. How do I go with this

Help on the entire Process Flow

Hi Guys,

Need some advice. Last year made a booking for a new property under construction. Loan apporved on September and signed the letter offer already.

On november I have executed the SPA and the loan agreement with Lawyer A.

Last week I received a letter from Developer asking for the 1st progressive payment - this were not sent to Bank but were sent to me. When I called i were told the developer never get the "a letter from bank" for them actually to ask them. Because of this by deadline soon this month - I will be charged 10% penalty.

Please let me know the whole process what happen next after I signed all those documents. Who should sent which letter to who for them to actually release the funds to developer.

Can a property be sold before its launching

Hi

Im would to check if a property can be sold way before its launching.

i booked a property and the loan approved. Gave offer letter to developer. But get to know the project has not been launched yet and only will be launch end of year and then only the SPA will be prepared.

is it even legal to do this? Delaying SPA after loan approved.

I dont mind waiting but do i have to worry about anything like after 3 months the increase the price or something or even worse say the unit is not available or something like that.

the loan approved loan is with my choice of unit number and address and all complete. Not a preapproved loan.

please let me know what you guys think...

i planned to get the corn snake. Habitats ready. But now thinking where you guys get the pinkies (frozen rat) supplies within setapak or wangsa maju or nearby.

the only place i know is in old klang road so its far for me. I dont planned to buy in bulk as wont be allowed so much in the freezer which is being shared
please let me know.

i wanted to know this before commited to buying a corn snake and dont want to leave it starving if i dont get food for it.

For everyday use for writing and web surf , blogging - carrying everyday so if possible any lighter laptops.

max i can go for 1700 if the spec is too good for my requirement where things may come handy infuture. If u know what i mean.
