Epiphone guitar. Ori? Fake?

Dear sifus out here,
I just bought the guitar of my dream which took me many years to find. And finally I had my dream come true ...but not sure have I made a mistake or bargain? See, I bought this Epiphone Goldtop '56 from someone 2nd hand for a good price. Of coz, he was being honest enuf telling me that I'm actually already the 3rd hand. But due to the condition and price, it seems like a good deal to me. Therefore I took it without hesitation.

However, I'm not sure whether this babe is ORI or FAKE. The guy told me is actually made in korea. So, can anyone here tell me or give me some pointers how can I tell whether is the real thing? I just wanted to make sure is not actually a copy or worst, a fake guitar completely.

RM10k start what biz?

I have RM10,000 cash and thinking of starting a small business.

But dunno what biz I can do. Bcoz I don't have any skill like others (ie Cooking, Cosmetic, Fix things, Teach etc.)

I only got a car & handphone which can be my asset.

Is there any profitable small biz... I can do?

Please help give some ideas?

Hi there!

I been wanting to buy a Tag Heuer watch ever since I started working. But man, those watches are crazy expensive! I always believe in original product due to its QUALITY. Buying those cheap pasar malam just doesn't feels right bcoz they always have problems later on. Either color faded, clock stop ticking, fragile body etc. Im the kind that can only spend at most RM2k+ for a watch that quality. But to buy them at above RM5k is really ridiculous.

Can I know IS there A PLACE where we can buy ORIGINAL watches (eg Tag Heuer, TISSOT, ORIS, Longines etc) at lower price???

Like a duty free shop or some sort.

ps: I've checked our local airports and its still expensive.

Any ADVISE would be appreciated!

COPY vs ORI ?

Hi Sifuuus out there!!!

I am wondering ...WHAT is the DiFFerence between a COPY and a ORI electric guitar ???

Have personally wanted to buy one myself. But take da ever wonderful Gibsons for example...they are freakin ExPenSiVE!!!

But there are alot out there selling between 1.5k - 2.5k. I know from the price its a COPY. But...HOW WOULD THEY SOUND ???
Has anybody tried it ?!?

Would they reallly suck?

Would it be better to get an Ori Epi than a Copy Gibson ???

Hi sifus out there!

I'm a complete beginner when comes to electric Guitar. Am planning to get one and learn how to play.

Am a big FAN of Les paul series. But can't afford Gibson or Epi at the moment. Especially after getting the guitar, I still need to fork out $$$ to get the Amp, cables and stuff.

So, I would really appreciate it if SiFUs here could recommend any beginner's guitar. Probably at the price around RM400.

Aside from that, I am keen on getting SX LP shape Guitar PACK (heard its good for beginners). It comes with Amp and all. But does anyone here have any info about this guitar pack.

I need to know HOW MUCH and WHERE TO GET IT.

Conman in e-Bay Malaysia. BEWARE!!!

I recently bought an item from www.ebay.com.my and it was a great deal. Since is an imported product.

I straight away use the BUY IT NOW to reduce the hassle of bidding and waiting etc.

As usual, ebay functions VERY VERY complicated (too many unwanted content) and info is no where to be found.

Somehow I feel Lelong.com.my is much much better. I have traded there 5 times & all are great experience.

Whereas this is my first time trading in ebay, thinking it has more SECURITY (as da pioneer n all - you can forget it!).

All I have about this SELLER is below:

AFTER that !!! He will email back saying, ..."Will check & inform you".

5 days until now. NO RESPONSE.

I even send him 3 personal emails + 1 ebay email. STILL NO RESPONSE.

and the screw up part... ebay only provide the SELLER's fullname, acc no. & address.

BUT NO PHONE NUMBER !!!

How the hell am I gonna keep in touch. sumore his email so weird... live.com ????

Anyway, I hope readers here will watch out!!!

As I am still waiting for 1-week only can REPORT to ebay.

Any StrEET ARt fAns out there ??? Can you share your thoughts & work here.

I am personally obsess with street art. Hoping I can find a group that share the same passion to work on an Art.

On the other hand. Has anyone heard of "Banksy"??? His work is mind-blowing.

He does mostly stencil. I wonder how he do it alone? And how does he create such BiG images using stencil.

Hi,

I am thinking of buying a new handphone. But not sure what Brand of phone to choose.

Basically I wan these in da phone:

- must be clamshell
- Bluetooth
- support mp3 ringtone
- play mp3
- camera (at least 2mega pixel)

Budget: RM700

And I prefer the square type ...not really into those round (like egg) type.

Any ideas & advices would be appreciated.

LETS LIST DOWN ALL THE JOBS PEOPLE SHOULD AVOID.

STATE YOUR REASON.

Many people come across alot of stupid jobs which in turn waste many years working in it. But end up with little increment, sometimes no bonus and terrible career path. You thought the longer you work, the better future it will get you. However, you then realize most of your friends or relatives already doing VERY WELL in the path that they took.

Then you start to think is too late jump anymore. But don't feel distress. You can help others by alerting the Freshgrads or working people before they fall into the same hole you did. At least you did something good by sharing your thoughts.

You can also share the jobs which you most hated and feel is a total waste of time. But make sure that you provide a VALID reason.

Pls keep the reason short & simple. 1-3 lines should be sufficient.

Here. Let me start first.

Job to avoid : Logistic
Reason : Work like robot everyday. Stress and busy all the time. Non-stop picking up calls. Everyday rush here rush there. No social life. No time to take annual leave. No training.
