Question for guys

Recently, I have managed to reconnect with an old friend and we started texting each other. She has to work from home due to the MCO. Everything was pretty normal when we had our conversation but starting on Monday, she became busier and has not replied me though she told me she will talk to me later (previously, she always does but just not this time)

On Tuesday, I texted her good morning and she has not replied. I also got to know that she has been working until 1 am yesterday. Sometimes, she works on Sundays too

So sifus sekalian, how do you guys deal with this situation?

2,000 retired doctors and nurses sought

PUTRAJAYA: The Health Ministry is targeting to recruit 2,000 retired doctors and nurses to assist the frontliners in facing the Covid-19 outbreak.

Health director-general Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said the ministry is looking at enhancing its health services, particularly in the management of Covid-19 patients.

“We are in the process to increase our human resources, be it nurses or doctors.

“If medical officers, we have to train them first, hence we are looking at those with experience namely retired nurses and specialists that could assist us,” he said.

He added that the ministry is now working on registering those who were interested to join.

Meanwhile, Dr Noor Hisham has reiterated that it is not necessary for the public to wear face masks.

“The need to wear face masks is when you have symptoms, taking care of patients; for example Covid-19 or it is the requirement for you to do so.

“But generally, social distancing is more than enough and it is not necessary for you to wear face masks,” he said.

There were some confusion on the need for the public to wear face masks, as some of them were instructed to do so by the authorities when they were out for groceries shopping, with some banned from entering shops for not donning the face masks.

On reports that a Malaysian has died due to Covid-19 in London, Dr Noor Hisham said the ministry has yet to received any information on the matter.

Hey guys,

My first post here and what I am going to ask isn't love related but more to a friendship that I share with a girl.

So is how the story goes.

It was a fun night as usual, chatting with her while she was talking something about herself; ways she handles her friendship and how she handles people who have crossed her base line and stuff.

I jokingly said "girls are so complicated huh"

man, she got mad and i can feel it through the way she replies my text afterwards.

I asked about it earlier today and she said that she was just disappointed and she will get over it and not to worry too much..

Guys, is there anything that i can do at this point? i am legit worried cause she is one of my closest friend around.

I applied for US visa and scheduled an appointment but i would like to know from where can i get the "visa application fee payment receipt" and the "MRV Fee payment receipt"

I just paid yesterday and scheduled for my appointment at 7pm earlier.

Greetings my fellow sifus here in J&C, I hope anyone of you could shower me with some much needed advice in regards to my career path.

I'm an engineering graduate who has been working for more than a year now. It seems all rosy and bright for my future superficially as I am only 24 years old this year. However, in my current job, I have failed to find any excitement, anticipation or empowerment at all; repetitive tasks and lack of conducive environment for my case. Hence, I am currently looking for greener pastures elsewhere, hopefully abroad (SG), in order to enhance and consolidate myself before I turn 30.

The biggest obstacle that I am facing currently would be my lack of skills as I felt that I have learnt nothing in my current job. Being in an environment where everything you learnt would be useless the moment you step of out the office, I find myself wasting time to be continuing here.

Thus, any advice from any of you in regards to what I should do because honestly speaking, I am very lost with my career path right now. For instance, where should I begin or what I should do with what I have now to scrap anything I can before moving on?

I have a question regarding visa.

I am currently planning on a London + Amsterdam trip at the end of the year for a total of two weeks.

Would be spending around 10 days in London and other cities in UK before heading to Amsterdam by flight.

Do I need visa in any part of my journey (Msia to UK, UK to the Netherlands)? I checked online that I require none but I just want to double confirm.

Is there anything else (documents or proof etc) that I need? Would be a first timer to UK and EU area "

Anwar rushed to hospital for unstable blood pressu

PETALING JAYA: PKR de-facto leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim (pic) has been rushed to hospital after his blood pressure became unstable, says his lawyer Sivarasa Rasiah in a Facebook post on Monday night.

"Let us all pray for him," said Sivarasa, who is also the Subang MP.

Anwar had raised concerns in July 2015 about his health, with his lawyer asking for him to be placed under house arrest as his health was deteriorating rapidly, adding that Anwar was not being given proper access to treatment in prison.

However, a panel of 11 senior consultants from Kuala Lumpur Hospital overseeing Anwar's health had found that none of his concerns were acute conditions.

Anwar was sentenced to five years in jail by the Federal Court in 2014 which found him guilty of sodomising his former aide Mohd Saiful Bukhari Azlan.

Edit: hey guys, i am back with another question.

i just got employed and guess what? airasia called for cadet pilot entry exam.

i really really like planes. although i dont know how to read the flight charts etc. i mostly know the technical side of a plane, as u can see, i am a mech student.

so should i really go for the exam or should i just stick to my job? it is a long process, up to four assesments if i remember correctly. since i am not confident of being selected a cadet pilot, it is hard and not many people get selected, i wonder is it a risk worth taking? kinda confused right now. any advice from seniors is very much appreciated.

I am using a HP Pavilion 13" laptop and I am having this problem.

The screen would blip for a few times and then i cant even connect to the internet. nothing wrong with my other devices in connecting. but after i had some books at the side and under the laptop. the problem seems to be gone. could it be overheating or lack of ventilation?

[Urgent] Kuching ppl pls help

hi guys, I need some help at the moment.

Currently im working on my final year project and i need wood for the model. I need 20 cm (width) by 25 cm (length) and i need a few pieces of those. If someone do know where to get it in kuching, do let me know? it is fine if the dimensions are bigger than the one mentioned. i can cut it by myself. It does not have to be that thick as well. about 2 to 3 cm is fine.
