Any review or comment for Acer Aspire 1825PTZ?

Have anyone used it before?

Is it suitable for college student usage?

How good is the screen and touchscreen, will it be good enough for ebook reading?

Would it be comfortable to use this as a replacement to a book?

How is the weight of this book in real world, will it be better to carry this laptop to college instead of carrying a reference book?

How good is the keyboard, is it suitable for long typing?

What do you think about the performance, is it good enough for a portable laptop with touchscreen?

Will its battery be good for long hours usage, could it last for more then 6 hours?

Any other recommendation of a convertible laptop for college with the same price range?

Does Asus VX6 worth the price?

Hello. I have a question.

I like Asus VX6 ALOT. For me it have everything that I need, except for one of the most important thing, performance.
I saw some other 11/12 inchers in the market with much better performance, for example Thinkpad Edge 11 that have an Intel Core i3ULV , HP DM1z with K125+4225 and a few others.

That make me wonder, do you think it is better for me to buy an Asus VX6 or let say edge 11 because of the performance and limitation of ION 2+Atom?..

Perfomance side will surely be won by edge 11 in term of the cpu.

but does getting an edge 11 with core i3 worth the trade?.. i mean.. Asus VX6 have:
- discreet graphic(ION 2, although its weak because of the pcie prob)
- Bang & Olufsen ICEpower speakers
- 2x USB 3.0, bluetooth 3.0
- and most important of all it have the great Lamboghini design.

Does paying an extra 200 for asus vx6 with ATOM instead of Edge 11 for CORE i3ULV worth it?

A portable laptop for college

I'm planning in buying a new laptop/subnotebook/netbook. Is there any good laptop with my requirement?.. And since I'm still a student, i don't think i can afford a high end one..

Screen Size : 11.6 -> 13 inch
Keyboard: As long as comfortable typing and coding
Battery Life: THE MOST IMPORTANT, MUST be more then 5 hours.

Weight:IMPORTANT, lightweight, travelling to college with bus everyday.

What I have in mind now is:
1. Asus VX6 -
Discreet graphic card with CUDA
USB 3.0
nice speaker
no dx11
atom cpu ( but i think the gpu will cover )

2. MSI U270 -
New gen cpu,
integrated that graphic is better then intel hd graphic
but IS IT WORTH THE WAIT?

3. Acer Aspire 1825PTZ -
culv processor,
TOUCHSCREEN( i know i know.. its does nothing better den just for fun ),
sucks graphic!

another 1 is acer aspire 1830, but the only one that i can find in malaysia is the one with culv + intel hd.

Usage is for college. If possible CUDA or STREAM is much wanted.. Need to use it together with pyrit.
[ION 2 inside Asus VX6 DO have CUDA.. and thats all i need. i am not asking for a high performance graphic card]

Budget is below 2500. Lower is much preferable.

Screen size must not be less then 11.6 inch,

AND I DON'T CARE ABOUT THE BRANDS, so don't start critisizing the laptop/netbooks for their brands.

HELP ME PLEASE.
