My cousin missed the UCAS deadline. She planned to study in UK rather than Australia.

Since she missed the UCAS deadline, she is now planning to do her first year in KL and transfer to UK.

Can someone please recommend a good local institution for law & econs?

Over 11 hour transit at LCCT...Any idea what to do

I am flying to KL from Sabah tomorrow. I got 11 hours (1300 to 2355) transit at LCCT, before flying to Sydney.

Any idea what to do? Is there ample of time for me to get to the city and do some casual shopping?

Any place for a quick shower at LCCT?

Asus U36SD (No Sound)

I bought my Asus U36SD early 2012 and I am very happy with the portability of the laptop.

Yesterday, I accidentally spill half a can of coke on the laptop. The laptop shut down immediately. I put the laptop into a bag of rice overnight to withdraw all the moisture from the laptop and I manage to turn on the laptop this morning but it displayed the "hard drive missing" error. I then replace the hard drive, format the computer and manage to get it running.

Now, I found out another problem. There is no sound coming from the speaker. I plug my headset into the audio jack and I got no sound through it as well. I did install the correct and latest audio driver. I suspect the problem is with sound card section of the motherboard.

My question is:
(1) Is it worth to replace the motherboard and how much will it roughly costs?
(2) or is it much better to sell the laptop and buy a new laptop? How much can I get from this old laptop?
(3) Any good portable laptop (around 13 to 14 inch) between 3k to 4k? I am looking at Dell Inspiron 7000.
