Entrance Grille Door for Condo

I need expert advise for grille door... One of the supplier (three kim) quoted me about RM1.9k for the entrance grille door, meanwhile some of the property mangement company quoted me RM1k for bulk purchase with other owners.

Can any expert advise what normally caused so much difference in pricing? The material is different or is profit margin? I'm really noob on this, hopefully any sifu can advise.

Light and fan installation for new condo

Hello all, sorry for stupid question but i have really no idea how electrical wiring works, for a new condo with wire popping out from the ceiling (like in picture below), do I just need to buy a light and fan and get a electrician to install it? Is there any further job need to be done to the wire before I can install fan or light on it?

Cough Doctor

I had stubborn cough for several months. My GP is not able to identify the root cause and referred me to hospital for further checking, but he dint mention which specialist unit should I visit. I order Domino Pizza via GrabFood and it has been 2 hours but my Pizza is not coming. Domino pizza hotline and Grab hotline are all fully occupied and I can't contact either of them to cancel my order. Starving now sad I should have cook my own food.

Question on ISI journal publication & viva-voce

Hi guys, I am considering a phd programe but have some confusion on the graduation criteria below:

(1) Publication in ISI journals

How does ISI publication works? Do we need to present it in conference or to any panel before our paper is accepted? What happen if our submission is rejected, do we need to rework the whole research?

Would be great if anyone can share their valuable experience on paper publication. 😀

(2) viva-voce

Is this basically a discussion/presentation with the university examination panel on my thesis? What is the purpose of viva-voce since my papers have already been accepted and published in the journals?

Really appreciate any clarification for these two components above. Thanks!

Can we ask Maxis to refund overpaid amount

For example if every month I pay RM100 into my postpaid account but my plan is only RM40 monthly, so I overpay RM60 every month. So my question is after some time like 1 year can I request to withdraw all the overpaid amount to my bank account? The reason I reload extra is because my employer offer mobile phone allowance on reimbursement basis. Anyone with this experience kindly share. Tq.

From my experience pay adjustment happens during
(i) annual performance review
(ii) counter offer

The reason I am asking this is because I managed to find out that my pay is slight behind market rate. I feel that I can get better outside but I like my current job environment and job scope...

So is it common to ask for salary adjustment before i make a move? Will the relationship become sour if they refused my request? Anyone with experience on this especially from bank or MNC? Really appreciate any constructive advice.

Leave entitlement for employee under HSO?

Covid is now so common that we no longer required to quarantine at hospital once we tested positive. However the patient is required to stay home during the home surveillance and observation (HSO) period. The question is, is there a rule by KKM that dictate that employee should be given medical leave during the HSO period?

I am staying alone outside of my parents house. I feel that my lifestyle is so spoiled because i basically order food delivery for all my 3 meals and i feel that its very expensive but i am lazy to walk out. The markup price for grab/foodpanda is high plus all those delivery fee i basically need to spend RM20-25 per meal. (after voucher- there is min spend to use voucher).

So i basically need to spend about RM70 for my food everyday for my weekend. If i go out to da pao i would just need to spend like RM10 per meal (rm7+3 for food and drink). How much you guys spend on food daily? Is RM70 a day very wasteful? Discuss.

[Urgent] Bank did not release money on due date.

Hi sifus, really need your advise here.

So I bought a new serviced apartment. The loan has been approved and S&P has been signed.
Few months ago I received a billing from the developers on the completion of 'ground level', and it requires my bank to pay the money by last week. However, when I check with my bank online account, it seems that my bank has not released the money yet! And there is no notification from my bank either.

I am very worry that what will happen if my bank did not release the money within the due date stipulated by the developer? Will i be charged interest by the developer (but its not my fault that the bank did not release the money)? What should I do now?
