One Imperial Condo Penang Internet Coverage

As the topic suggests, does anyone have any ideas as to what internet provider is currently available at the condo? Based on my discussion with TM; seems they don't have line there yet and even TIME not there yet. Maxis website doesn't show coverage there for their maxis broadband and same with P1 and Yes. Seems like my best choice right now is use my mobile data, which is hopeless if wanna use for torrenting or online gaming etc...any ideas guys? Moving in in March.

Tenancy agreement questions

Hi all,

I'm recently renting an apartment from a property owner here in Penang, and I went through an agent to get the property. Would just like to ask regarding a few fees which I had some doubts. For the agreement stamping fee (~rm100+) and agent fee (~5% of rent + GST), is it normal for tenant to have to pay these? I thought it was borne by the landlord?

Looking for property in Penang

Currently looking around for a place to stay in Penang. Was thinking of a budget maybe rm500k + max. I heard secondary property might be cheaper and a lot of ppl advise me to wait even longer as prices supposed to drop this year. Do you guys think prices really gonna drop? One agent told me a lot of ppl waiting for CNY to increase prices. Dunno how true dat is. Any advice here from the gurus would be much appreciated...plunge or wait?

Gaming/Media editing laptop suggestions

Hi guys,

Was looking at potential options for a gaming/video editing laptop with around 4k+ budget. Initially was looking at Dell Inspiron 15 7000 series, the i7 version looks pretty interesting for the price point:

http://www.dell.com/my/p/inspiron-15-7559-...op/pd?flyingspaghettimonster=PD_OC

Maybe throw in another 8gb RAM and it'll be awesome. But some of the reviews are putting me off, especially when thinking if the UHD reso can really be supported by the 960M 4GB. Would appreciate any other suggestions? Looking for 6th gen Intel processors if possible with a 4gb midrange GFX (like the 960M). Any suggestions welcome. Also, not looking for a desktop because of portability reasons.
What's a good game to you?

I thought of doing a poll for this but I think there are just too many variables. My question is...what is a good game to you? Battlefield 3 just came out and is earning rave reviews. It gets major points for its realism (superb graphics) and 64 player multiplayer (innovative and engaging multiplayer). Yet, it's had a bit of points deducted for a poor, linear single player campaign.

Games like Mass Effect and Skyrim thrive on the engaging single player experience which often spans hours of gameplay. Great role playing elements, decent graphics and a good story give these games their edge. Games like Crysis on the other hand, offer the whole package, without really excelling at all points.

So what is a good game? Do you think a game should be the entire package? Do you think it's worth paying so much for a game which emphasizes purely on multiplayer with a tacked on single player experience? Or do you think games should be purely single player? I'd like to hear your thoughts!

Is it worth overclocking AMD HD6970?

I plan to play games in 1080p. was wondering if it was worth it to OC a HD6970 and possibly reduce the lifespan of the card just for an additional 2.4 fps...is it really that noticeable? This benchmark was taken from TechPowerUp from a review of the MSI HD6970 Lightning with Twin Frozr Cooler. The MSI 6970 Lightning is a factory OC card with 940Mhz on the core clock (compared to 880Mhz stock) and 1350Mhz on the VRAM (same as stock). I plan to get a Powercolor Hd 6970 (not the PCS version...just the ordinary dual fan/ copper heatpipes one). Is OC worth it according to your opinions?

Recommended entry level mobo for 1155

Hey guys...I'm planning to upgrade my mobo over these next few months...I'm not really into SLI or Crossfire...I kinda prefer a single good GPU. Has anyone had any experience with these 3 mobos and would like to share their views? I'm trying to choose between:

a) Gigabyte P67A-UD3
b) Asus P8P67 - LE
c) MSI P67A - C45

I am into overclocking...but nothing major. I know the Gigabyte doesn't come with UEFI but the other two do (right?) and the MSI only has one PCI-E slot...other than that...what do you guys think is the best board among these 3? Thanks!

PS: I'm leaning towards the Gigabyte...
