Roof Coating / Protection / Insulation

Dear fellow forumer,

The topic of roof insulation was discussed before. The core is on heat insulation.

However, I wish to touch on this topic again from a different angle.

I am looking for a solution which will cover the following:

1. Keeping the house cool (either through heat insulation or deflection)
1.1 Deflection is through roof coating such as the attached picture on Wapol.
1.2 Insulation is via TCL (cellulose), etc and such companies.

2. Security (via zinc sheet)

Queries:
a. Which of the options in 1.1 and 1.2 is more effective in keeping the house cool? Option 1.1 to me seems to have the added advantage of adding aesthetics to the roof and roof leaking prevention. But still, the main objective is to keep the house cool. Wouldn't using those outdoor paints such as Solareflect (ICI?) achieve similar result?
b. Is zinc sheet able to be mounted on a GI roof truss? I have always seen metal zinc sheet being applied on wooden roof structure, but not on metal truss.
c. Alternative to achieve point # 1 and #2.

I appreciate any constructive comments and suggestions.
