i am about to start & done some googleing on web extraction and need some direction for my scenario

my scenario is going page by page tp extract data

Is there any ready tool to do this before i jump into more manual way ( coding ) ?

I have tried Firefox plugin iMarcos but dun have option to go page by page
I have seen Paid software
I have seen Microsoft Excel's Web Query ( doesn`have option to go page by page )
I have seen ScapperWiki ( coding )
I have seen webharvest ( open source program, but it too complex for me )
and more and more ways !

Capture SQL statement

I need a capture a sql statement into a table/or log/ that has been executed for syncing ( to antoher different type of database) purposes.

Is there a proper way for this rather than storing the raw string of that sql statement into a table with blob time. Trigger?

hey gurus, i need to implement a calender just like Google's calender for my work

i have tried some on the system but it fail to work which i suspect due to activex content stuff.

tried - works on example page but didn`t work on my work;s system

ok i am totally new to ajax and just made a ajax validation

i have a ajax that call a validation page to check if it's duplicate name

so if there is existing record, it will show a msg at the caller page

but there is a loophole

if i change to an EXISTING name and QUICKLY save. it will go thru. ( means there will be duplicate record )

at my save button it will check. if the span id is empty then proceed to do a transaction. because i save too quicky. it reads the span id wrongly
