oil & gas job offer

im currently working in a statutory body. Recently kencana call me up for 2nd interview (previously they decided against taking me because im bonded due to scholarship. this happen last year). Just curious whether its a good deal, because I heard this company's benefit very bad, doesn't reflect a o&g company. Beside, I'm paid well by my current company despite being a fresh grad. kencana offering me project based work, which i assume will be super high pressure, gonna insult thrown here & there. how? dilemma. job scope may be appealing 2 me compare to current work, bcoz current work is more to admin work.

House Loan

Im planning to take a bank loan of about 150k to finance my house construction (land foc). Been shopping around for home loan, but confuse when it comes to banking stuff.

So far, the best deal to my assumption is Bank Islam. Because according to the loan officer, since I work with the government, the interest is 4.5% for 38years, s&p and insurance is free. However, he also mention that whenever interest increase, payment remain the same except at the end of the loan, I may need to extend my payment for a few month only. That is the part I have doubt because he say a few month, but what if few year?

Another thing, I still don't understand what is the difference between conventional and islamic banking. Majority of the opinion on internet discourage taking islamic loan. What is the risk? I heard of something about the house belonging the bank unlike conventional loan, etc.

Hope can get some feedback on the matter islamic vs conventional, bank islam loan or any other bank. Thanks.
