Hi..

Baru je sampai Kelisa aku tadi. Parent aku call, kata kereta dah sampai. 2003 auto..

So sebagai preparation nak pakai Kelisa, aku dah buat extensive research pasal Kelisa. Target first aku ialah untuk better performance, but without touching the engine. Jadi plannya ialah Stage 1 mod.

Ada beberapa yang aku dah kenal pasti apa yg perlu aku buat..antaranya ialah :-
1. Tukar kpd Iridium spark plug (Denso/Bosch)
2. Air filter yg lebih baik (cth: K&N drop in)
3. Voltage stabilizer (yang ni aku jumpa ada org DIY, 96000 uF @ 96 mF, better dari kebanyakan Pivot yg cuma 30000/50000 uF)
4. Extensive grounding (5-7 points..tapi point nya aku tak tau nk pasang kt mana)
5. Guna Full-synthetic 5w30/5w40 lubricant (Q8 dan sebagainya)
6. Tukar extractor Hotbits

Jadi aku plan nak buat satu-satu la. Nak buat semua skali tak larat la poket nak tampung. hehehe nk buat semua skali gus dalam RM1000.

Katakan lah bagi tempoh 3 bulan. 1 bulan 2-3 barang (kalau barang murah), atau mungkin 1 bulan 1 barang je (kalau barang tu mahal)..

Jadi abang-abang, akak-akak, otai-otai, sifu-sifu, taikor- taikor...mintak tolong nasihat, mana satu yang perlu dibuat dulu. mana satu yang kena diawalkan, mana satu yang boleh dikemudiankan..

p/s: walau macam mana pon, aku faham kereta auto takkan jadi sehebat manual laa...hehe

My small step to ICE

I'm planning to setup a small step to ICE for my fish..but need some advice from experts here...

My setup is:-

AMP: Blaupunkt GTA-480 850W 4ch 4ohm
COMP: Kicker K65.2 150W Max 75W RMS (which will be install at front door panel)
SPK: Alpine SPS-170A 200W Max 40W RMS (for rear speaker)

My questions are:-
1. Will my AMP able to drive those speakers?

2. Will Kicker comp fit to the panel? Because it is 6 3/4inch size, and also afraid magnet too thick and will touch other part inside door panel...

im rite now building my rig and trying to learn overclocking it..

amd x2 4800+ (default 2.5ghz)
gigabyte ga-m55sli-s4
2 x mushkin sp2-5200 512mb (run on dual-channel)

please be aware that this mobo bios is very lack of ram tweaking.
only provide CAS latency (CL) setting..no other else..
im using stock cooling..

so right now my highest overclocking setting is (according cpu-z):

setting1
bus speed : 224 mhz
core speed : 2800 mhz
HT link : 1120 mhz
cpu multiplier : x12.5
dram freq : 350.5 mhz
vdimm : 2.0v

setting2
bus speed : 230 mhz
core speed : 2645 mhz
HT link : 1150 mhz
cpu multiplier : x11.5
dram freq : 371.8 mhz
vdimm : 2.0v

i've set vcore in bios at 1.275v (to reduce temp), but easytune5pro reports vcore 1.32v, while cpu-z 1.296v. however, readings jump while load to: easytune:1.34v, cpu-z:1.312v

i dont know why but core temp seems reporting wrong cpu temperature.
im using easytune5pro to monitor the temp during 15minutes stress test with orthos.
idle/load temp : 36/67 (applies for both settings)

how to make my rig performs at best with air cooling?
should i make vdimm to 2.1v?

below are wut i found so far, which one is better? :-
setting1 - lower bus, higer multiplier == higer core speed, lower dram freq
setting2 - higher bus, lower multiplier == lower core speed, higher dram freq

greetings..
for the mobo above, i need the wireless lan driver for the mobo, vista OS plz..

i went to asus website, and download there, but when it comes to the installation process, it says that i have to plug in the wireless lan device..
means that the wireless lan device was ejected before..

the problem is, the wireless lan device is mounted on the mobo,,cannot be removed..
so how can i unplug it and insert it again??

have anyone with this mobo successfully installed the wireless lan driver plz..

where is msdos.sys in vista?

greetings to all...!

last weekend, i've installed windows vista ultimate on my lappy..
running smoothly without any flaw..

and this morning, i've been searching on how to get faster boot-up for vista pc..
and there are some tweaks..

many of them are about altering msdos.sys file..it was said that msdos.sys file is located at C:\ drive (not in other folder)..and i cant find it! i changed folder options to allow me to see hidden files and also system files..(i chose Show hidden files and folders and also unchecked Hide protected operating system files),,

and still i cannot find msdos.sys..config.sys & autoexec.bat is there,.but there is no msdos.sys...

or i have to create it myself? anyone here can teach me how?

AutoScan=0 - This line disables the automatic scandisk that is run if the computer is improperly shutdown - saving a bunch of time if you are constantly restarting your computer using the power button instead of the 'correct' way. Sadly, however, this doesn't appear to work with Windows Me.

Applying these tweaks should dramatically decrease the amount of time it takes for your computer to start up or reboot. Hopefully, these tweaks will help your computer boot up faster, and give you a slight performance boost as well.

maxis wireless broadband

currently using maxis wireless broadband..
when the maxis guy came to my place to install the modem,i saw the checked
the 3G signal using his handphone..

but then the next day, i moved to another room..
there, i checked with my hp,i managed to get 3 of 5 bars of 3G signal..
but when i try to connect the maxis modem, it use only GPRS network, not UMTS which is 3G..

internet speed is very very slow..
when i set the modem network selection to WCDMA only (default is WCDMA preferred), i cannot connect to the internet..

RSSI led is on and not blinking,the info page showed it connect to UMTS network, but cannot connect to internet..

i had restarted the modem for many times..but problem still occur..help!!

help me..i need to get the driver for this compaq presario v3222..
currently bought this lappy..the shop already gave me the driver cd, but cant install..

i think those driver inside the cd is for vista, not xp..bcoz i've searched in compaq's site and only driver for vista are available..

anyone have XP driver for geforce go 6150?sound driver, blablabla...

shortly, anyone using compaq presario v3200 series that have the driver for xp..

hehe..one more problem after i switch to NOD32 from panda antivirus 2007..
windows load very fast..3 times of loading bar when booting only..

but then when it reached windows, it loads other software very slow...
antivirus + RMclock + Launch Manager = this will take more than one minute..

LAN + WLAN icon = will appear about 2-3 minutes after windows finish boot-up..

if the LAN + WLAN driver haven't load, i cannot use internet at all until it finished being loading,,

i've tried MS Bootvis to optimize my system boot up, but it says time out..
which means it takes too long of time for all items to be finish loaded..

i cant connect to ym..
at first i thought it is my home network problem..
then after back to college, problem still persist..

i've checked in windows firewall, but ym is in the exception list..

yesterday, i bought a stick of mushkin sodimm ram..
it is a 512mb pc2-5300 667mhz sodimm ram..

currently my lappy (see my siggy) is using hynix 512mb pc2-4300 533mhz ram that was provided by acer when i bought this lappy..
then yesterday i put on the new stick inside..turn my lappy on..see cpu-Z..

cpu-Z shows in Channel # field(in the Memory tab) as "Dual"..does it means my rams are running in dual-channel mode?AFAIK, for the rams to run in dual-channel, both modules must be the same type,same speed,same timing..

so actually where can i check to know my rams are running in wut mode..either single channel or dual channel?

branded pc, usually features available in the bios menu is so limited..

so izzit any way to set the timing of my ram?

Streamyx wireless

Greetings..

I've heard that Streamyx have wireless broadband service just like Jaring Wireless Broadband (JWB).

However, I've tried to find an agent that deal with that kind of service, and I hardly can find one, included those in LYP. Anyone of LYN forumners using this Streamyx Wireless?

I live in Sg Besi Military Camp. And one of my friend once met an agent that deal with Streamyx wireless. The agent said that coverage here is good as the tower is located on Bukit Besi which is inside the camp itself. From my room, I can see the tower on top of the Bukit Besi.

Currently I'm using JWB. But the coverage here is not so good although the camp is included in the planned covered area of the service. Maybe caused by some small hills around here.

So, anyone is using STREAMYX WIRELESS?

installed the nfsc..but so sad cannot play it..

the BSOD shows dat there are sumting wrong bout my ati dll file..
coz it stated ati****.dll,,(i dunno wut is the exact filename, so juz put ****)

acer's latest driver for it's x1600 gpu is catalyst 6.3
i've tried official mobility catalyst, it cannot work correctly especially on games..
i've tried oso omega driver..cannot oso..

anyone facing the same problem? where can get updated ati driver for acer laptop?
i've crawld acer's website, and google oso...
still cannot find one...

Everest & NHC

hurm for my lappy in my siggy,,

currently use NHC (Notebook Hardware Control) to monitor cpu temp..
but when i opened everest, it will reports different temp compared to NHC..
always, the everest's will be lower than NHC.. pening

i tried to google, but couldnt find which one is using the internal sensor and external sensor..

help..

hello...please refer to the attachment pix for easier understanding in my case..

so currently only one router, one WAN..the router [ROUTER 1] is a wireless router..

my fren wanna extend the network, but the internet is so slow as now the 1mbps internet is shared with 6 users..
so he suggest to subscribe a new internet account, a new router for the new one oso, to add about 5 more users, but he said he wanted to somehow link his new network to my network, so that we can play LAN games among both network clients.,

im about to think to connect the 2 routers just like in the diagram,.

features are as below;
- ROUTER 1 and ROUTER 2 is connected to each other thru one of the LAN ports (use cable laa)
- both routers will be connected to separate WAN each
- ROUTER 1 is a wireless router, ROUTER 2 is also a wireless router but wireless turned off
- only DHCP on ROUTER 1 will be turned on, ROUTER 2's will be off
- laptop users will connect thru WLAN to ROUTER 1..
- pc users will be connected with cables on ROUTER 1 and oso ROUTER 2

so..will the network success? will both WANs be used and utilized in the network?
if cannot, how to make a success network?
