Dear all, it has been a long time sitting duck reading every line you tag and now... it is me pula in need for favor..moreover the KLIAV 15' is around the corner, why not?
Has anyone could advise an entry level digital hires HDD audio player? I hav spotted one;Aune S1 at a very good bargain $$ but just before I make the purchase, would like to hear all Sifus here your valuable opinions. I came across Denon and YBA but both are mostly media streamer.. in the end I got to still play the audio files(DSD etc) thru my laptop, stream thru wifi in order to play via this streamer. The beauty of Aune S1 is that it can accept portable HDD! How great this would eventually transform to become digital hires jukebox! The considerations I am now is that... China made and the brand itself whether I should proceed.. Can you help please?
Ps: oh yes I am occasionally plug in my Fiio X5 to stream DSD to my DAC (Teac). But plug in and out I am kinda afraid... well one time the X5 fell on the ground and dented the casing..
Thanks a lot!!

Wireless 9.1 Surround Headphone

Dear all sifus, not too long ago I made a mistake by selling off my Sony MDR DS7500 for just RM400(well I bought at RM450). Truely I am still pain and asking why the h**k did I sell it??? When I wanted to get it back, tu..dia...eBay is selling more than 2k. I had no choice but to wait. Now the wait is over. There is this Sony MDR HW700DS selling only RM1200. This is a new product just launched last April. This is so cool and it has got 9.1 virtual surround.. This is the first, one and only wireless home theater headphone available so far...! I am so going to get is. Now is in discussion with seller(Japanese) with regards to the warranty terms.. I wanna find out if anyone has come across this piece of masterpiece??
My previous experience with the old DS7500(only 7.1 virtual surround) coupling with PS3 was superb!! Surround and effects is so vivid!!!
Thakks

Affordable all rounded HDMI AV Receiver

I have been using Yahama RX V2500 for almost a decade. Back then this babe was considered a top in range. But technology....the evolving speed... What can I say.. I thought I could insist to stay with it but... I have max out my display HDMI ports(PS4, BDPlayer, AstroBeyond and AppleTV)... also the trueSurround sound. I guess is time to get myself an upgrade! I have been off grid for sometime(many years) therefore can I get some help perhaps someone can suggest what's the best rounded, HDMI enable AV amp? My budget is below 2.5k.
Thanks a lot
Ong
