A: Yes it record both video and sound.

Q: How long can it record?
A: That strictly depends on the size of memory card you're using. For example a 8gb memory card can record up to 1 - 2 hours in 1080 Full HD. After it reach it's maximum capacity it will then overwrite the old data. In case emergency happen, you can choose to lock up the files so that it won't overwrite it.

Q: What type of memory card it's using?
A: A normal SD memory card.
