Is online buying safe?

I have purchase things online for a while. But I see things that are obviously not true. Look at this http://www.lazada.com.my/128gb-metal-usb-f...k-16050378.html. A 128GB thumbdrive for RM30.80.

Or this http://www.lazada.com.my/hot-sell-2t-new-u...0-28747381.html. 2TB of memory for only RM36.88. What is worse are the 3 glowing reviews at the bottom of the page.

If it smells like a scam and looks like a scam, then ...

Epson Printer Online Registration

I purchased an Epson L220 printer at IT Fair last weekend and was told the warranty will be extended by a year if I register online. Unfortunately I have tried to do so repeatedly without success. Wrote an email to them. No reply. Called them on the phone. Sent all the info required with pictures of the serial number and the receipt. Check the warranty status online: still "not registered".

How much trouble does a customer have to go through before Epson Malaysia will register a simple purchase? I already regret not buying a Canon G2000.

New Tegra 3 Iconia Tabs

This thread is fading away!

Anyone upgrading to the newer Tegra 3 quad-core Acer Iconia Tabs? Better displays, a faster interface and longer battery lives. I notice that Acer has taken out newspaper ads for its latest 10" and 7" tablets.

Its local web site (which is slow with too many special effects and too little information) has the A700 featured but the smaller model is not in sight.

I've seen the specs on the Nexus 7 and am not impressed. We're used to expandable storage on a micro-SD slot as well as the USB port. Not to mention the micro HDMI connector. But Acer's marketing division has to do a better job if it wants to stay in the tablet market. Lower prices will help too. Otherwise present Acer tablets users will be looking at Asus, Samsung or soon to come Windows Surface models.
