Cuckoo for condo resident (w/o external filter)?

Hi all,

I plan to buy Cuckoo Vivid water purifier (hopefully Cuckoo users can feedback - no plans for other brands).

My concern is this.

I am staying in a condo in Petaling Jaya area. I can't fix external water filter at my water meter, not allowed by condo management.

So is Cuckoo Vivid good enough to filter and have clean water?

Note: I used a cheap water filter by Cosway now. But I do boil the water manually. So far have been drinking for years. Just feel boiling water is a hassle.

When I get this Cuckoo Vivid, I won't boil the water manually. Will drink direct - whether warm or hot water.

Is Cuckoo Vivid safe to drink direct without an external water filter?

The place I stay has few robberies once awhile. So is good to have it attached to my table, at least it takes effort to steal it.

It seems that I can save money if I choose to buy my own DDR4 and add into the 2019 iMac 27" 5k model.

I plan to buy this (though it could be 2020 model by Jan 2020)

27-inch iMac with Retina 5K display (latest as per Apple's website)
- 3.6GHz 8-core 9th-generation Intel Core i9 processor, Turbo Boost up to 5.0GHz
- 8 GB 2666MHz DDR4 memory
- Radeon Pro Vega 48 with 8GB of HBM2 memory
- 2TB SSD storage
- Magic Mouse 2

Really can add the memory manually? Plus can I buy any DDR4 memory or have to be compatible to Mac ones? Any recommended memory which I can buy in Klang valley or lowyat plaza?

Is it straightforward to apply PCI compliance for an e-commerce? Or do I have to use 3rd party agent to apply?

Any tips and tricks for such application?

The reason of applying so I can have direct payment on-page instead of using payment gateway popups. Based on my research,without PCI I can't do it.

Hi all,

Is there any software/settings which I could install on all my Mac computers (mostly on El capitan and yosemite). So when they tried to copy files to a thumb drive/hard disk or even print out, it will watermark my company's logo in all documents (PDF, DOC, DOCX, PPT, PPTX, XLS, XLSX, images, etc). I have seen a company doing it, but not sure what he used. I know for sure, he's using a mac. Any idea what software he used? I don't really know him.

Note: We do store files in google drive and dropbox. A bit concern people leaking our company files. If leaked out, would prefer to show watermark or best even the person's mac name on the document itself.

Need some help here.

I have a company of 12 people (may increase to 15 by end of this year). All of us are using either iMac, MacBook Air and MacBook Pro. Mostly on El capitan, if not Yosemite.

Since my team is growing, I want to protect my company intelectual property.

1. Ability to detect on who plugged a thumbdrive/hard drive to their laptop.
2. Ability to detect files being uploaded to emails (outside of company email) maybe via yahoo/outlook/gmail.
3. Ability to detect who copies files from my file server (NAS, etc), servers (mostly on ubuntu 14.04 servers and 1 centos 6/7)

Is there any software free or paid which I can go for? I know windows can do such stuff. Not too sure about Mac. But nowadays more and more companies are embracing for Mac. Believed there must be some solutions for this.

Hi all,

I am planning to become a merchant for both Lazada and 11street. Have some products to be sold there (fashion related), and a few other products (e.g. electronic gadgets).

Before I approach them, like to get your thoughts.

Do you know how much commissions do they take from merchants? (min and max)?

Do they practice flat commissions across products ranges? or fashion is this rate, electronics is that rate?

I do noticed they always throw price & discounts, wonder whether it will affect my margins?

Hi everyone,

Need some help. Before this, I am using a cheap ear plugs which eventually caused my ears to kinda of swollen. Then I used a logitech headset but the sponge torn off.

Is there any better head set? I wore some 2 years back (philips brand) and my whole ear was so hot and painful.

Looking at budget RM300, wonder can get a good one.

I don't need any microphone, prefer a better headphones.

I am not a gaming guy, more to listen music, watch news and work tutorials.

I am considering to buy a new android phone.

Budget is RM1200. Max is RM1300 (preferred to be less than RM1200).

Any recommendation?

Need a good phone which can do the following:-

- watch youtube
- surf net (no lagging)
- whatsapp
- skype calls
- read emails
- prefer bigger screens (but not too big screen)
- has ability to update to latest android (heard nexus can do it, just too expensive. the older nexus is a bit dated i think)
- play games once a blue moon

I just got xiaomi mi4i and it arrived today.

However when I tried to update this phone (via miui update). No matter what I did, I always get this error

Install update.zip failed!
Error applying update

FYI, I even renamed the download update to update.zip, it made no difference.

mi3 or oppo find 7?

Hi everyone,

I plan to give my wife a new hp. Currently she's using samsung galaxy s3.

I am not that fancy with the new s5 though. Plan to consider either mi3 (since mi4 is not out that soon i think) vs oppo find 7 (or 7a).

she's used to android, but not that hard core - call, surf net, facebook, insta, whatsapp, some 2d games, nice camera (esp front which is good when i go overseas and skype call).

mi3 is kinda good as it's not that expensive compare to oppo.

but mi3 has no lte, does this matter? so mi3 wifi and 3G slower than galaxy s3?

any tips from the experts?

Between mi3 and oppo, which one easier to find casing too?

Like to check. My friend had a land in selangor area.

I believe it's a commercial lease land. Inside this land he had tenants renting shops. Around 30 - 50 shop lots inside his land.

But that land already expired.

Any tips for him to renew his land? Should he go to land office in Selangor?

Note: I can't reveal the land name, as I also don't know the exact location.

I am going to buy a new car (1.6 auto).

Based on the sales guy, after 1000km I will need to service.

I heard few people say different opinion. So i decide to ask the experts here.

Should I drive fast on the 1st 1000km? Like 110km/h as much as possible, consistently on highway

or

Should I drive 90km/h and below?

Some said tekan oil hard hard once a while is good. Hmm?

I assume this concept works for all cars 1.6 engine.
