SQUARE ENIX NEW GAMES - GUARDIAN CROSS

Is A FREE GAMES

USE REFERENCE CODE to GET FREE RARE CARD : HH96098

link : http://www.square-enix.co.jp/smart/gc/

Introduction

This is a game which I believe everyone should try. It is a wonderfull game and most important of all, it’s made by the one and only Square Enix!

This game is a TCG ( Trading Card Game ) in a RPG style and also the first TCG I’ve seen which actually has a storyline within the questing part of the game. So what makes this TCG better than others? The way you get cards, An actually Storyline, Interesting Events and the last point which I find a BIG plus is: There is no RNG during fights between players like other TCGs.

Getting Started

First of all, the tutorial of this game is as complete as it can get so be sure to follow it well. As I am writing this blog right now there is a battle event going on. I will write about this a bit further in this blog.

The Hunting Ground

You get cards by going into the Hunting Ground by using a ticket you get for logging in every day or by finding them by questing. And here comes the fun part which other TCG’s do not have. In most TCGs you get Friendship points uppon logging in and you use this to buy Friendship packs. In GC you get hunting tickets from logging in every day / questing and by using these tickets you get into a place where you can shoot creatures called Guardians. That’s the name of the cards.

Setting Up Your Deck

The most important aspect of this game: your deck. Your deck consists Guardians which you got from The Hunting Ground or an event. The ranking of cards are displayed on each card as a certain amount of stars. Here are some handy tips which can be used for beginners.

1. First of all get 10 cards so you have a full deck even if it consists alot of 1 stars. They will be replaced at one point and that point is probably on your first day, that is if you don’t mess up your Hunting Ground rounds but don’t worry! The Hunting Ground isn’t hard. When you got 10 cards go to “Guardians” – “Reorganize Party” and click on “Recommend Party”. Do this for the “Field” and “Coliseum” Tab.

2. Got 10 cards? Good! Now power up that deck. When you have more than 10 cards NEVER EVER sell them unless you’re out of Guardian Points ( The currency used in GC ) but this is unlikely to happen. Go to “Enhance Guardians” which is also in the “Guardian” tab on your home screen. When your there you see a white bar on top of your screen which gives you the option to sort your cards. Set this to “High ATK”. When you did this all your cards will be set from highest ATK to lowest ATK. Now you did this ,click the Combine button and select 12 cards or less and combine it with your strongest card. Do not worry about any of your deck cards being used. When you put cards in your deck they are NOT available when used in combining. After you did this do it with the rest of your deck. It’s better to have multiply lvl 5-10 cards rather than 1 lvl 20 card.

Now your ready and set for the Questline / Coliseum

(Event) The Coliseum

Gladiators, Lions , Tigers, Blood!

No not that Coliseum. We’re talking about GC here. The Coliseum is basicly the battleground of GC. It’s a game opening event which is running from 13 September – 23 September. To get into the Coliseum you need a Coliseum Pass which is also obtained in questing, just like Hunting passes. When you’re entering the Coliseum you will get a list of 5 players which are around your ranking ( Coliseum works with a ranking system ) and you also see their Average ATK. To make it go somewhat easier try to always attack the ones with the lowest Average ATK. You only need to attack 3 of them.

When you finished fighting 3 people, regardless of winning all 3 or not, you will receive an amount of Coliseum points and you also receive a “Chain” buff which will will increase the points you earn in the Coliseum by 20%.

Also when you’re on a winning spree you get more points. Every time you reach a *0 winning spree you get alot of points.

INVITATION CODE GET RARE CARD : HH96098

See you in Games
