New, lower cc, or old, higher cc bike

Hi guys.

I don't know where to ask, so might as well ask here.

Given a budget of RM25k (max, cash), I would like to look for a daily use bike. Travelling from USJ to Putrajaya for work. So I'm eyeing on these two bikes. MT25 (new) and MT07 (used, 2016-ish production).

In terms of maintenance, I know MT25 would be the best (and safest) bet for my daily commute, but I wonder if MT07 would serve a better alternative.

What say you people?

Changed from Postpaid to Prepaid

G'evenin' guise (and Maxis especially).

So I just changed my plan from postpaid to prepaid couple of hours ago at Maxis Sunway Pyramid.

The counter told me that my line would be resolved in arnd 30 mins to 1 hour tops.

But until now, I still dont have any signal (meaning that my line hasnt been activated yet)

Should I pay a visit to them again, or should I waste my moolah to call d Helpline, or should I just wait like Yoda?

I'm not a fan of waiting. Or calling them Helpline, that is.

Custom Head Gasket

Hi guys.

My dad's car (Hyundai Accent 2008 1.6AT) is undergoing an overhaul procedure at the SC in Glenmarie.

According to d technician, my dad need to look for a custom made metal gasket as they need to skim the cylinder head for some reason (Car overheated d 2nd time actually. First time, the same Hyundai SC in Glenmarie, changed the whole cylinder head. Cost like a 2nd hand 4G63 complete engine. D 2nd time, kena gasket leak, and need to do cylinder head skimming)

As per my previous experience with my Honda, somehow d K Series have a set of overhaul gasket kit. It will be much easier if such thing exist with Hyundai. But nope.

So, my point is, I need to look for a machine shop that can make a custom gasket for my Hyundai. Preferably around Subang Jaya, Shah Alam, or Sunway.

Mobile Car Wash

Ok guys. I'm not promoting or whatsoever (maybe I will, later...). Just want to ask about this mobile car wash.

As I was washing my "sportsbike" (scooter onli.. ), this truck went into my housing area and promoting their service. In their luck, I was washing my ride outside the house compound, so they can stop for awhile and promote to me about their services.

Oh. They quote me their car wash price as RM15. For me, thats dirt cheap considering they come to you, they bring their own water and all, and you can just sit back on your favorite couch, with a drink, and watch your car being taken care of.

My question. Anyone have used this before? I've searched in this section about mobile car wash, and there wasn't any. So, I took the liberty to start one.

Oh yeah. One more thing. Sadly, they only cover Klang Valley (as told by one of their rep. named Casey)

So. Anyone care to comment their experience on using their services? AFAIK this company were established on 2009, so they might have quite a customer around Klang Valley.

p/s: According to the site, they washed a Ferrari before. Is it a marketing gimmick?

Usher has laughed off being kicked in the face by a fan, insisting it is a “hazard of the job”.

The 32-year-old R&B singer was performing at Madison Square Garden in New York on Monday night when the incident happened. Usher had invited a female fan onto the stage so he could serenade her and the pair sat down on a coach.

As the star was singing, the overzealous admirer tried to get closer to him and accidentally hit him in the nose with her high heel boot.

Usher insists he wasn’t hurt during the mishap, adding he was thoroughly amused by it.

“It’s a hazard of my job. In all my years, this is one of the most interesting experiences. I got a kick out of it!” Usher told UsMagazine.com. “It looked worse than it actually was. My audience and I got a good laugh.”

The fan apologised profusely after accidentally striking Usher in the face and the pair hugged afterwards. The star hopes the fan isn’t feeling too bad about the episode and wants to make clear he isn’t angry or injured.

“Wherever you are baby, don’t feel bad,” Usher added “No hard feelings.”

Dear /k/,

As I'm heading back to my institute in Kelantan for my practicum, transport is really important for me to get around. I was thinking of sending my scooter there via KTM, Skynet, Nationwide, or any courier service available.

My question is (for those who have done it before);

1- How much would it cost? Last I heard from my friend Skynet charge RM180 per motorcycle, Nationwide RM100+, and KTM depending on the cc of the bike.

2- For Skynet, where's the place for me to drop my scooter?

3- Is there any documents that I need to bring along?

Dear /k/,

My Internal HDD got some problems when I'm installing my fresh copy of windows 7, but it seems that i just cant. I wanted to claim warranty (i dunno how long is my warranty, d blown one is Maxtor. Bought it in 2009)

Question is, can they get back my data? Or they just simply replace it with a new hdd? Is there anything i need to pay them, like inspection fee like what Highpoint did (Acer SC..got bad experience with them. They cant repair oso songlap my rm50)

My assignment/picture/everything is there.. Gonna be so sad if failed to get it back..

At 5 am this morning, my ADT security system triggered n d alarm blaring across d room in my house at USJ 6, waking up my parents 1st (i that time tido mati ). My parents found my brother's house key lying on d floor with both grille and door opened wide. FYI my house has been broken into about 3 times (1st on 2005, huge loss, 2nd and 3rd time saved by ADT..)

now going 2 USJ police station to lodge a report..hopefully d CSI team will come to process d place..

the screw was forcefully twisted, resulting on the damage to 3 out of 8 screws holding the grille..

there's a dent here that enabled those f*&^&rs to open the window..there's a big gap made by them.. (repairing took me abt 3 hours)

Next we move to my living area..the robbers might be tempted by my dad's home theatre + lcd tv..and i dun wanna loose my console again (previously in 2005 my PS2 kena alredi.. )

As per topic, about few weeks ago, my fren showed me his collection of modified 4x4..looks nice and mean too...
but i didnt grab some picts 2 show u guys here...

this one i found from a website..a Mitsubishi Triton on 22 inch wheels...heard from my fren a new set of wheels cost about 15k?...i dunno..
