1. Electricity Bill di Sarawak akan diberi discount sebanyak 5-25% selama 6 bulan sehingga bulan september.
2. Water bill discount will be given discount from 10%-25% from April to September.
3. Bantuan Khas untuk B40 Monthly cash pay out RM250 untuk 6 bulan(total rm1500) untuk 430 ribu orang. Will cost Sarawak govt RM645 juta ringgit.
4. Bantuan untuk Frontliners(medical officers etc) di Sarawak for 6 months
a. RM300 (doctors, nurse, medical)
b. Rm200-Untuk immigration officers
c. RM200-Untuk PDRM(bilik gerakan)
d. RM200-untuk Tentera
e. RM200- untuk RELA Will cost sarawak govt RM17 juta
5. 50% Discount of rentals for market stalls and hawker.
6. Waiver of permit and licenses fees for traders, tamu, festive bazaar etc.
7. 25% for annual assessment rate for above rm400 threshold to residential, commercial, industrial etc for 2020
8. Deferment of loan repayment for 9 months of Skim Pinjaman Industri Kecil dan Sederhana(SME) amounting of RM1.3 billion.
9. RM20 million(on top of rm30 budget 2020) micro credit loan untuk SMEs.
10. 30% for land rent to all land users for 2020
11. Deferment of Land Premium for year 2020
12. Waiver of Hotel and Lodging houses Licensing Fees for 2020
13. Free Face Mask for Sarawakians. Sarawak Govt telah order 2 juta mask direct to hantar direct ke Sarawak
14. Sarawak will allocate RM10 juta untuk memberli PPEs untuk frontliners
15. Food for all frontliners. Cost RM1 million
16. HDC rental discount for 50% for 6 month until september

TULAR video hujan meteor di media sosial sejak tengah hari ini yang didakwa berlaku di kawasan Taman Johor Jaya di sini, awal pagi tadi.

Rakaman berdurasi 22 saat itu menunjukkan cahaya terang yang didakwa hujan meteor melintasi ruang udara yang dirakam secara tidak sengaja kamera papan pemuka (dashboard) seorang pengguna jalan raya kira-kira jam 5 pagi tadi.

Video yang dimuat naik di Facebook oleh sebuah portal itu mendapat perhatian warganet namun kesahihannya dapat dipastikan sehingga kini kerana tiada kenyataan rasmi dikeluarkan pihak berkuasa.

Planetarium Negara sebelum ini dilaporkan berkata, hujan meteor atau dikenali sebagai quadrantids adalah fenomena astronomi yang biasa dan tidak membahayakan manusia.

Fenomena itu biasanya dilaporkan aktif pada akhir Disember hingga minggu kedua bulan Januari serta mencapai kemuncaknya pada 4 dan 5 Januari lalu.

Ketika kemuncak fenomena itu, orang ramai berpeluang melihat 120 meteor atau tahi bintang kelihatan menuju keluar daripada pusatnya di kawasan kumpulan bintang Quadrans Muralis atau Bootes dalam masa satu jam.

120 meteor sejam bersamaan dengan dua meteor seminit atau satu meteor dalam masa 30 saat

Penduduk berang bunuh 292 buaya

SORONG: : Sekumpulan penduduk di sebuah kampung di wilayah Papua Barat membunuh 292 ekor buaya di sebuah ladang ternakan sebagai tindakan balas dendam selepas seorang lelaki maut akibat terjatuh ke dalam kandang reptilia berkenaan.

Beratus-ratus penduduk kampung Aimas yang bersenjatakan pisau, parang dan cangkul masuk tanpa kebenaran ladang ternakan buaya itu pada Sabtu lalu selepas mangsa terbabit dikebumikan.

Menurut Ketua Badan Konservasi Sumber Alam Indonesia di Papua Barat, Basar Manullang mangsa bernama Sugito, 48, dipercayai memasuki sebuah ladang ternakan buaya untuk mencari rumput bagi haiwan ternakannya sebelum dia diserang reptilia terbabit.

“Seorang pekerja ladang terdengar jeritan dan ternampak seorang lelaki diserang buaya,” kata Basar dalam satu kenyataan.

Ladang terbabit diberi lesen membiak buaya daripada spesies dilindungi untuk tujuan pemuliharaan dan komersial pada tahun 2013.

Namun salah satu syarat, adalah memastikan haiwan berkenaan tidak mengancam penduduk sekitar.

Pihak berkuasa mendakwa gagal menghentikan serangan berikutan jumlah penyerang yang terlalu ramai namun siasatan berhubung insiden sedang dijalankan. - Reuters/AFP

The president of Fifa has invited the 12 boys and their football coach trapped in a flooded cave in Thailand to attend the World Cup Final in Moscow - if they are rescued in time.

Thai authorities are still weighing up different options to free the young footballers in Chiang Rai, who have now been stuck in a small chamber, about 1km underground, for almost 13 days.

KUCHING: Newly elected Julau MP Larry Sng said he has been invited to join a new government this morning.

“I have been invited to join a new government this morning. Things are moving very quickly from here,” he posted in Kuala Lumpur in his Facebook account today.

Although he did not mention which new government that he is joining, it is believed that Sng will be joining the Pakatan Harapan government led by its chairman Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad.

In the 14th General Election yesterday, Sng garnered 10,105 votes against Barisan Nasional (BN) candidate and incumbent Datuk Joseph Salang Gandum’s 8,174 votes.

Despite making the posting, Sng when contacted by The Borneo Post, said he could only comment on things after the swearing in of the Prime Minister is done.

In a press conference at Petaling Jaya today, Dr Mahathir emphasised that the PH coalition has already won a clear majority and thus is entitled to form the government.

He said with PH itself has 121 seats plus 14 seats of Warisan and a few seats from smaller parties in Sabah, the coalition have well over 135 seats.

Dr Mahathir is expected to be sworn in as Prime Minister at 5pm today.

TM cable stolen

First of foremost , i must admit the place where i living is not really the safest place as normally happen to all the rural place nowadays. Last year it was reported 3 times mostly underground cable stolen . And a week ago it happen again impact almost 30 houses .

In this case, i know that i cant blame TM alone for this fault . I just want to know what prevention measure that can be work by TM, Police or Community around to avoid this thing to become common. I am wary that it will affect TM plan to upgrade their facility around my area since they had to pay higher cost to maintain current service
