Hi all,
I owned a HP Elitebook 2560P model aged of 2 years
Equip with Intel I5 and 4GB DDR3 RAM
Monitor at 12.5 inch
Running OS Win 7 Pro (Original)

My problem is my monitor brightness is only 151 cd/m2 which is quite low compare to normal laptop running at 240 to 300 cd/m2.

My question is :

1. The monitor brightness is controlled by the monitor or graphic card (motherboard)?
2. If let say I bought a monitor which cd/m2 is higher and install on my lappy, will it work?

And also please do not hesitate to ask if more information needed.
I would like to say thanks for those reading and giving any comments to help.

Thanks
