Questions regarding Brokerage and Custom duties

Okay,so do all sites have brokerage fees? Like do all sites which offer DHL or Fedex shipping, do they all have brokerage fees? Is there a way of avoiding them?

And what about custom duties? I heard if you spend more than RM500 you will get taxed? Is that true?

Also, I was wondering if you guys could list sites based on your experience when you had to pay brokerage fees, customs etc and sites where you managed to avoid paying for this?

So far based on my experience-

Endclothing- did not receive any custom duties but had to pay Fedex brokerage fees

Mr.Porter-(based on what I heard, I could be wrong) No custom duties and no brokerage fees

Is there a kind of service which like washes and clean your shoes? Like for clothes there's like dry cleaners, but how about shoes?
I have a couple of leather shoes and sneakers which needs some cleaning.

Macbook specs to run both Windows and OS

Hey guys,
I'm thinking of getting a retina macbook pro (gonna wait for the new update before buying) but I was wondering if I am able to run both Windows 8 and apple's OS at the same time? As in able to switch from time to time.
Reason being, my university requires Microsoft Access in Windows and I really don't want to get a non-Mac computer. Is this possible for me to have both Windows and OS in my macbook without slowing down/lagging the mac?
What specs do I need to check when choosing a macbook to ensure it runs smoothly? I plan on upgrading the standard 256 GB flash storage to 512GB (cannot afford the 768 GB upgrade ) Do you think it's sufficient?

Sorry for asking noob questions,it's just that I'm not really good in computers.

Sending t shirt and jeans to tailor

Okay so I recently bought a t shirt which is a bit big for me.
Like its size L and I'm actually around size s/m.
If I bring it to the tailor to make it shorter, what exactly will the tailor do? I never seen anyone alter t hirts before lol.
will it still look the same after alteration?

And also I've a pair of APCs which is a big long for me. It's selvage and if I hem it will the selvage still look great?

And could anyone recommend me some good tailors to go to to alter t shirt and jeans?
I don't care about the price but would prefer if the tailors location is around subang area.

My nudies seems to be fading pretty damn slow so I would like something which goes well with dark indigo jeans.

Anyone knows some good brands which are simple with good fitting?Mostly looking for everyday use in college.
I currently wear plain t-shirts from topman and nudie jeans but I was wondering if there's anything better?

Please don't recommend me stuff like AX,Burberry,Ralph Lauren etc etc..too common in college and the way some students wear them puts the brand to shame.

Need some advice on my current workout

HI guys,
I've been doing this workout for the past few months on every alternate days.(mon/wed/fri/sun)
Don't go to gym so my only equipment doing is exercises are a set of dumbbells.
All of them are done 8 reps each,6sets in total.

Dumbbell flies (done on the floor)
dumbell presses(floor)
Overhead Tricep Extension
deadlifts
curls
rows

Btw,is it better doing full body workouts or only workout certain parts on certain days?

Doing HIIT training on rest day OK?

Hi,
Just wondering;
Is it alright if I do a HIIT training,let's say for 10minutes on a rest day,the day after I'm done with gym?
Does this in any way make it overtraining or anything?
Is it better to have a rest day completely rested with no form of exercises or is it fine to stick to doing HIIT on rest days?

I've been working out for awhile now and I've decided to get one of these supplements.After I've been working out,I found out I've been losing weight and stuff like that.As I'm still a high school student,I do not know which one is better to get and would like some more info about them.I'm trying to find one which can maximize my muscle growth as well as bulk.
Furthermore,which shops can I buy them from?(My mum refuses to pay for online ones for various reasons :/)
As for the whey protein,I'm looking for one which does not use too much artificial flavorings and too much of other unhealthy stuff like that,could someone recommend me a stuitable brand?

American Degree Program at Taylor's

Hi guys,
I am considering taking ADP at Taylor's lakeside next year.However.I do not want to take the Transfer program but opt for the (1+4) option and apply as a freshman instead.How do I go and apply for this and could someone give me more info about this?
I heard that not many of the top unis in the US accepts transfer students.Has anyone here tried the 1+4 option instead of going to us as a transfer student?
Will I be at a disadvantage if I apply as a freshman under ADP doing the 1+4 option compared to a person who finish pre u? (eg:A levels)
