Three phase wiring

Hello,

Has anyone install 3 phase wiring recently? I intend to get an EV and have been advised to change my wiring to 3 phase. I like to know what is the cost of converting to 3 phase. The idea is to eventually install solar panels. Can someone suggest a good solar panel install too? Thank you.

Ringgit depreciation, good time to redeem?

Need advice from all the Sifus here.

I work overseas so the ringgit depreciation is helpful if I want to pay off my mortgage on my property in Malaysia. I don't know whether this is advisable because some people are saying Malaysian property, economy etc will collapse like Greece. Would it be wise to pay off the mortgage or just save the money?

I know all that is currently happening is not good for Malaysia and Malaysians who are living and working in Malaysia and I do hope and pray things will turn around and improve. After all, Malaysia is still home. I worry for Malaysia and hope it will be alright soon.

Thank you for the advice.
Iphone 6 plus - low volume

Hey guys,

I just got my iphone 6 plus. I noticed that the volume for the calls I receive or make (including the ringing tones when I make the call) is very faint even when I try to increase the volume button. Has anyone experienced this? I thought this is a problem with Viber calls because the connection is not good but it seems. That even normal calls are like that. Any advice ?

Advice needed - SS terrace or apartment

I need some advice from all you property gurus and sifus.

Would you buy/invest in a single storey terrace not renovated, leasehold in old PJ (about 50 years left) about 2000 ft but intermediate lot 500k or a freehold apartment in Puchong slightly renovated at 390k? I am thinking the house because single storey not easily available also regarded as land also unlike apartment. Nowadays also lot of apartments. Intention to let out. What would be a better investment?

Thank you.

Need some advice. I am thinking of getting the new retina mbp. Do you think it is necessary to sign up for two ear Apple care? So expensive when it adds up. Being such a trusted brand and a hardy notebook, is it really necessary? Appreciate advice from whether members face problems with their macs to utilise Apple care although I know people o sign up for it.

Hi All,

I need advice from all those who have been to Melbourne. Please can you advise how much is the taxi fare from Tullamarine airport, Melbourne to CBD? I understand if you pre-book a taxi, it is AUD26 per person but if you take a txi from the taxi rank file outside the airport itself it is AUD45 but not sure if it is for one taxi or one person? Any other charges like toll or tips?

Also, please advise how much to set aside for meals for one day. Any good vegetarian restaurants or places to eat? Places to see and things worth buying?

Thank you all so much.

PJ or BK?

Hi, I really need some advice from all you sifus.

I am thinking of buying a house for own stay (not immediately but in about 3-4 year't time). I am now working overseas and am in late 40s. I have lived most of my life in PJ - older part of PJ. So naturally would like to return to live there. I found out that the prices of houses have spiral up so much that it is barely affordable. The houses in the older part PJ are leasehold with an average of 50 years left and are goig for easily 1.3, 1.4 million for a not renovated single storey bungalow. I cannot find a single story semi d corner.

A friend took me to BK and the new houses there have some nice designs but the intermediate unit is over 800k and a corner is (about 3500 sq ft if you are lucky) is 1.2 - 1.3 million. Would you buy a PJ old house and renovate (I don't intend to demolish and renovate - only some parts) or buy the new BK houses. Although it is for my own stay, it would be good of course if there is capital appreciation.

I would really appreciate your advice.

Thanks in advance.
