Ok... My p2p went up to 100kBytes/second for the first time in three months??? Usually 10 KBytes/second.

Did they unthrottling the P2P? But Why? Did the mass complain to MCMC works???

Or there is something else we dont know (e.g. New broadband plan with limit downloads per month, which TM dont bother to inform us).

Reason I'm asking, last month, on the 3rd week of January, my P2P just stop. Did you guys notice on the tmbills website where you can see how much you downloaded per month section is not there anymore??? I used to see how much I downloaded every month. Now it is not there???

Anyone out there know the reason?

New Future Streamyx Contract.

Soon, there will be new contract for streamyx. There will be a change in the plan.

Streamyx will follow new contract scheme, which also been used by other countries (Australia, New Zealand, UK, etc).

There is will be a download limits per-month (e.g. 12 Gig). When you reached the download limits, your speed will go down to 64 kbps.

The purpose of this plan is to:
1. Allow other users to get the change to download due to new streamyx suscribers.
2. To ensure customer average satisfaction (Not maximum satisfaction).
3. Maximize profit.
4. To cover Streamyx back from angry customer if they wish to make complaints regarding slow line.

Just bought a new Dlink Modem Router (DSL-500T) and a 8 port Linksys Switch. My entire house wired already. Did try to use wireless but have signal problem, so decided to use wire.

Note: My router has only 1 LAN port.

I connect my LAN router to Linksys 8 port switch. There is no light at all. I borrowed my friend Dlink 8 port switch and it works.

I return the switch the day later and got another Linksys 8 port switch. When I got back home and plug my Router to the switch, there is no light again..

Can anyone explain to me what is wrong?? Linksys Switch should be the best but why it is not working.

Note: Internet is working if I connect directly to the Dlink Router.
