Buying a house (S&P and Loan) While Overseas

Hi guys

Due to the pandemic, I'm currently stuck overseas and won't be back in Malaysia anytime soon. Mother looking to buy a home under my name (both SnP and bank loan) so my question is if it is possible to get the SnP and bank loan sorted without me physically present in Malaysia? DO i need to hire a lawyer to get everything sorted for me?

P/S: the property is a sub-sale unit.
