[WTA] Flash Actionscript - Drawing tools

Hi Actionscript gurus, I have some question here:

1. Can I create something like MS Paint using actionscript?
2. If yes, can I save my design (like after u draw in mspaint and save it) and retrieve it later?
3. Which database is more suitable if I wanna store data from the flash application?

Before you answer the questions, let me give u an idea on what i wanna do. It's something like Microsoft Paint, where you can scribble around using the pencil tool, draw shapes using the shape tool, align the objects, type text, resize the objects, change the fonts etc. I am not sure whether we can use some kind of object-oriented programming to do it. Was thinking of creating it using Flash. Is it possible? What do you think? Pls give some advice.
