Solar Water Heater & Roof Leaking Issue

Hi guys, i found out my house solar heater is not working and my upstair rooms are leaking water during rainy season.

Then i ask a plumber to come and take a look.

Conclusion from the plumber was:

1) Solar heater panel spoiled (snapped a picture of my solar panel and showed it to me saying that it is spoiled)

2) The solar heater pipe are clogged that why there is no hot water flowing to my house

3) The roof tiles below the solar heater are cracked, thats why water are leaking into my room ceilings

Does anyone know whether my solar panel is spoiled by the looks of it?
The plumber told me that i need to change a new one which cost roughly RM5k

Even if i doesnt want to replace a new one, i still need to dismantle the old solar panel to fix the roof tiles below.

I have not much idea on this solar thingy.

Hi, i am currently training for marathon.

I am running average 8km daily with the pace of roughly 10km/hr.
I felt quite tiring recently and found out that some runners do consume protein shake for muscle recovery and reduce fatigue.

Are whey protein suitable for runners after training for the purpose of recovery?

Any other supplements suitable for runners?

Hi guys, i've been wanting to buy my GF a portable aircond as she been complaining about her room (quite small room) as hot as oven.
The landlord doesnt allow her to install a wall mounted aircond.
I bought an air cooler for her but it was totally useless, the ice doesnt last for more than 15mins.

So eventually i think portable air cond is the only option left.

I been doing alot of price check and research online but can't really find any trustworthy reviews about the products.

So anyone has any idea or experience on any brand portable airconds?

I personally like the Midea 1.5hp portable air cond but doesnt know how good it is.

Car insurance issue (Car Theft)

Hi everyone, i am quite new to automobile here.

I just wanted to know does CAR INSURANCE covers my loss if my car was stolen if my GF was using it?

She is not named in the policy btw, and i think i bought the COMPREHENSIVE policy. (AXA Affin)

Thou my car wasn't stolen yet, but my GF parked it in a high risk area while going back to her hometown for holidays.

I am working in Sarawak, so she's been driving my car in Melaka since.

Being abit of paranoid here, you know it's difficult to talk to GF about my car, it will trigger some kind of "Oh, now your car is more important me!" thingy to happen.

Anyone do have any insight, enlighten me please, thank you very much...

How to handle my car scratches and dent?

I just dented and scratches my car with another car while trying to exit a side parking.
The damage is as show in the pciture.

I am relatively new on car, it is a pearl white Nissan Almera.

Anyone kind enough to share some thoughts on this, what is the best and cheapest solution to tackle the problem?

Road tax in semenanjung and shipping fees

Greetings all,

I have a few questions regarding my new car. Here is my story:

I am from Perak, i was sent to work in Miri hence bought a new car there with loan. Now my girlfriend is going back to work in semenanjung, i am going to send the car back with her, so that she can put it to good use. Sorry for all the seemingly stupid questions, i am a new car owner that have zero experience in this, please bear with me.

1) Normally how much does it cost to ship the car back to Semenanjung? I am on a tight budget
2) My Road tax is expiring end of August, i am wondering whether should i renew it here in Miri first? or renew it in Melaka?
The concern is i am afraid my GF doesnt really know how to renew the road tax, and if the documents need my signature i won't be able to go to Melaka.
The other thing is i heard if Sarawak road tax change to Semenanjung, the car will need to undergo puspakom inspection, i am worry my GF doesnt know how to do it as the car is under my name.
In the process of puspakom inspection, is it compulsory for the car owner to be there? I am not able to present at there if that is the case, this is my worries as well.

Anyone can help me with this issue?
