Why People Sell Moto G Not Long After Purchase?

As a friend of mine is planning to get a Moto G, I was just wondering why are there people who are selling off their Moto G as soon as a couple of weeks after they purchased it.

Is that phone really bad? Any thoughts?

Hi guys, I'm looking for a solution to design power controller which needs to handle several signals and provide outputs based on the input signals behavior, sometimes timing needs to be considered; as shown in example below:-

The system is in <power off> state:-
1. If input signal "TURN ON" is HIGH, then system shall initiate <power up sequence>.
2. Another input signal "ACK" should be HIGH within 15 seconds, if true then system shall go to <power on> state.
2. If the input signal "ACK" is still LOW until more than 15 seconds, then system shall go to <power down sequence>.

What options do I have to implement this? Which type of controllers should I consider e.g. PIC, PLC, etc?

Hello people, I got a friend who is supposed to go through 4-year program in University of Manchester under Computer Engineering major. The 4th year is actually for Masters in Engineering course, but he is stuck at 3rd year with 2nd class lower degree (Bachelor's degree) with option either to stop there or continue with Masters in Engineering course, the problem is there is no related course that accepts 2nd class lower and below degree, only 2nd class upper and above. What options does he have now, besides to repeat the subjects that he flunked, or enroll in Masters in Chemical Engineering (which requires 2nd class lower and above). Is there any other university in UK out there that accepts people with 2nd class lower degree to enroll in Masters in Engineering - Computer/Electrical/Electronics courses?

Anyone knows how much is the minimum fee charged for document translation service? I need to have some documents translated to German before submitting them to German embassy for residence permit application, and the embassy only recognizes a few translators for that purpose: List of Translators. Planning to get Marc Benkelmann Triple Translations to translate my documents, wondering how much do these translators charge for their service.

What is Syabas Water Pressure Std for 2-Sty House

Hi all... Right now the water pressure to my house seems very low, I even took off the main meter to see how fast the water is coming out but it's kinda slow to compare to my neighbor's house (opposite).

Made a complaint to Syabas, they said they've checked the pressure and it's 18psi which is normal, and told me to check the internal piping. Anyone knows what is the actual standard for the water pressure at the meter?

Remote Control PC

Hi,

Need you good folks help on getting a Remote Controller that can control media application on a PC (Windows XP) without the Windows Media Center Edition (MCE). Is that even possible?

I read somewhere that you can use a MCE remote controller to control the PC, just need an IR receiver which comes with the software that can translate the signal from the controller to control media apps on PC. Wonder how true is this... Would be great if someone can point me to such device.

I know mobile phone with bluetooth can be used to control PC but that's not practical to me :-(.

Advice please? Thanks.
