Hi guys. Help me out here.

I've been driving more than 21 years and recently decided to get my first ever motorcycle. This will not be my main mode of travel so it's just for fun basically / weekend rides.

I'm good with bicycles....been riding them all my life. For motorcycle, I know how to ride those "kapchai" bikes and I used to ride them illegally around the city.

I have a full B license so actually I have a wide choice of bikes BUT....

I do not want a too powerful bike as a beginner and since it's gonna be a manual clutch. Next is costs of buying and costs of ownership.

Below are my entry level sports bike choices:

1. Kawasaki Ninja 250R/ FI.
2. NAZA Blade 250 GTR
3. Any suggestions? 250 only please.

Please give some kind opinions. Because I dunno nuts about motorcycle (knowing as in mechanically) although I'm a car guy and repair my own car.

Hi.

I do not know who to ask so i think i might as well post it here.

I have a 3G modem by iCON 225. After a year's usage without problems... now i am facing this annoying issue of it going into "radio is off" mode. Seems like it cannot be left idle for a while.

What is happening? Please help!

dimming headlights

i guess you guys would know what i meant right???

anyways, this amplifier and subwoofer was previously fitted in my myvi. back then i noticed that whenever i pump up the volume the headlight dims whenever the bass hits. i checked the alternator and noted it was rated at 40amps. so, since then i didn't bother much about it since it is that "low".

so when i hv change my ride to persona. i noted that the alternator rating for this car is 90amps. So thinking that it is more than enough... never actually observe. anyways, just noticed that it actually does dim when the bass hits.

my 4 channel amplifier is stated 1200watts driving one and only driver which is the sub-woofer. i do not know what is the rms for this amp. It's pretty "old" like 5 years +.

what is wrong here? the ground cable not huge enough for the amp? shall i use a much thicker ground cable for the amp? link a thick ground cable from battery (-) terminal to engine block??? does the big 3 method works????

Restoring yellow shoe soles

Hi guys,

I have a favorite shoe that i still wanna keep it around for while. Problem is, the white soles it used to have, turned yellow. It really sucks and i do not know whether its possible to restore it back to its white looks.

Anyone here could give me some advice?

Gearbox replacement requires JPJ endorsement

If a car underwent a change of gearbox from either automatic to manual OR manual to automatic, is it a requirement that to go JPJ endorsement and puspakom testing???

Because someone that i know... was told to do so... even went to JPJ and was issued a letter to have it tested at Puspakom...

Another question would be, does this effect the car resale value? How? Higher value or lower if its a manual to automatic conversion..?

How to block PPstream in Belkin Modem

My brothers and dad keep using PPStream to watch movie and its making the line so lag until i cannot surf the internet.
I have told them many times about this but no one seemed to care.

Can someone teach me how to block them from streaming PPStream? I am using Belkin G Wireless modem router.

Wifi shut down when i go into "switch user mode"

As the topic states.

Reason that i use the switch user mode is that to keep the downloading going on which i am used to do in Win XP Pro.
But then in my new Vista Ultimate, i noticed that my wifi will get shut down when i use the switch user mode and therefore my downloading gets disrupted.

i tried disabling my wifi from going into power saving mode but to no avail.

I have been having this itch for months wanting to trade in my 2006 MyVi automatic with a new Honda City i-dsi model.

2008 is my 3rd year serving the loan of RM584 monthly for 9 years. i paid 5k down payment for the car and servicing the loan with RHB Bank with interest rate of 4.1%.

Summary of the finance details for my current MyVi car is as follows:

-Selling price of the car - Rm50,000.00 (If i remember correctly)
-Down payment made - RM5,000.00
-Monthly instalment - RM584 x 9 years
-Interest rate - 4.1%
-Est. amount paid so far - RM23,688.00 (based on my calculation RM5,000.00 down payment + RM18,688.00 (RM584 monthly x 32 months to date)
-Est. outstanding balance Rm26,312.00

I had my car evaluated with Toyota about a month ago and they want to take in for RM35k as that time i was looking around. Yes i know outside u sell urself u can get for around 40k (Kuching price).

My Myvi 1.3 automatic 2006 model is lightly modded and most of the items can be put back to original state as i have kept the items (good condition). Except for the 16 inch rims.

I understand that if let say Honda takes in my car for 35k (for example) and still need me to put in a few thousand ringgit of down payment. How if say the down payment needed is 5k. can i just ask them to minus it off from my evaluated 35k by them so that i dun have to pay down payment? and since my car still under loan then how? and will i able to keep my car plate?

bros and sis here who are familiar with the process please advise as i do not understand this car trading practice.

Mitsubishi Pajero L47

Hi guys. I have an abandoned 1989 Mitsubishi Pajero L47 2.6 litres petrol engine with manual tranny sitting at home doing nothing for the past one year. Its my dad's car but ever since he got his Benz, he abandoned this one.

Since the engine is a fuel guzzler and its condition not really 100% anymore, i was thinking of taking over the car and do an engine swap. To diesel / turbo diesel engine of a much more newer model mb late 90s or early 2000 Pajero engines. I am looking at either 2.5 or 2.8 litre. But then if the 2.5 litre is powerful enough then why not.

Any advise? And can i retain the stock gearbox to match with the new engine? How much am i looking at for the conversion?

Some idea of how the car looks like taken from other ppl's car.

Bass boost = Bass EQ? Cuz on my amp i see Bass EQ selection for 0, 6, 12.

The usual ones ike RCA cables and + & - cables easy la. But then how about the remote wire? Most aftermarket have remote wire at the back of the player But how about stock players or players that do not come with it?

Yellow fogs

Is using yellow fog lights illegal? My headlights color are originals. Just that the fog lights are given the yellow tint, therefore night time the fog lights are emitting yellow lights.

I know they are after whites. So what about yellow?

I do not know what to do already. I had this Bichon and named him Troy. Troy was bought and adopted as a baby into my family.

I have two dogs. One shihtzu female named Pam who is 4 years old when Troy got into her life.

Ever since Troy started to be an "adult"... he is becoming a devil in disguise. Bullies my Pam a lot, really rough with her etc. He would walk straight and kick or knock Pam out of the way as if she does not exist. He is that rough i tell u.

Then he started knowing how to pee like a man by lifting his leg up to piss. And problems starting such as:

1. He now knows how to pee like a man...lifts up his leg and always piss at my dinner table foot. He used to pee on the paper as thought by me.

2. He trashes my kitchen! My lowest drawer contains recycled plastic bags. He loves to open the drawer (yes i seen him doing it many times), drags out the plastic bags all around the kitchen. He even pees on some of it.

3. I discovered new bad bad thing about him. He eats his or pam's SHIT!!!!! He would smell it, lick it and takes it into his mouth, munch munch munch and swallow!!!!!!

4. He licks and drinks his own pee or sometimes Pam's.

I am soooooo lost and headache because of him now. My first dog was Pam the shihtzu. And she has always been a total ANGEL from day one. She sleeps with me from time to time. She keeps her dog cage (in my kitchen) extremely clean. The rag would stay clean and not messy for months! She is scared shits of wet grass as she is scared to dirty herself. She is very gentle and have lots of manners and loves being pampered and carried around. She begs for it all the time.

Now, how do i cure or teach my Troy?! I am totally lost.......lost!!!

Jaring email problem

My dad's jaring email in the outlook software, the email cannot send out. What is the problem? If using the webbased jaring email its ok.

but using windows outlook or microsoft office outloook also cannot.

Windows Xp Pro

I have been ignoring this problem for years. I think its time to really learn how to overcome it.

As most of u users out there using win xp knows that with a limited account user, some games cannot be run unless "run as" one of the administrator groups.

now, how to overcome this? if ur saying that windows xp is designed that way. ok fine, but how to like ermm mb change come registry things etc etc to make it work????

Especially when wanting to play certain games. Why Why why? I tried installing Xp Pro and Xp home copies but still, games like Juiced2 and Sims2 cannot be played.

After installing, i wanted to play but then just as i clicked the program to start, after few seconds..... BLUE SCREEN!!!

I really dunno how to solve this already.

My system is Core 2 Duo e4500 2.2ghz with Fatality motherboard. Onboard sound and display.

Lighter engine oil

hi guys.
im driving a 1.3 myvi automatic using original Perodua's semi synthetic 5w-30 engine oil.

I would like to try a 20 weight engine oil for it. Do you think its possible and suitable? does the oil wear faster due to it being much more thinner? I was considering it because being a thinner and lighter engine oil, the engine would be much more responsive and nicer to drive.

Please advise and post about ur views of using lighter engine oil...

Ur comments may relate to any other makes of cars not only to MyVi.
