I plan to make 1 mill ringgit by end of 2013. That is my 2013 resolution.

Dear All, I have a friend who own a small kopitiam that sell his own recipe of drink and snack. After 2 yrs being in business, he have a lot of regular customer and his shop is full house every night. In the past few months, he have approximately 20 inquiries to franchise the business. My friend and I doesn't have much information and idea about this business. Therefore, we always put it on KIV.

So, the purpose of me opening this topic is to get advice from all sifus on how I can expand this small kopitiam business into a proper franchise branding kopitiam.

What business can setup with just RM 3,000 to RM 5,000 start-up capital?

Come share2 I am serious on this. So, if can... don't post comment such as too little etc.

Example: ramly burger stall, jambu juice stall etc.

Opening Travel Agency

Dear All, I am thinking of opening a travel agency dealing mostly with outbound.

Anyhow, from the information I receive from a friend of mine; he has given me the following information:-

1. Open "sdn. bhd." only company (which would cost me much more to start-up compared to sole prop biz)
2. License for "outbound" business is close for now by the ministry. So, If I really want to do outbound, I will have to borrow other people license.

Is it true? Can anyone please advice me about it?

I think the economy for 2012 will be worst than 2011 because the global economy crisis has not reach its bottom yet.

Prices of everything will increase, except salaries. Most of the people that I know now is using advance money from credit card, buying thing in installment term (carrefour, maxis, digi etc.) and borrow cash from friends/family to survive.

> For those who is working, they expect higher salaries so they could cope with higher living cost.

For those who is doing business, they are struggling really hard to fight with the current market trend and also lowering down the profit to make the product pricing more affordable.

> For those who is working, their expenses should increase a little.

As for those who is doing business and have a lot of liabilities (big car, big house, big expenses). From my POV, these will be the group that will be badly hit the upcoming financial crisis.

What says you?

Soon we will wave goodbye to 2011. Hows everyone 2011?

So far my 2011 has been going as plan except the last half of 2011 that thing doesn't goes as plan and am now suffering a little. Hopes to get back up by 2012. My family business is effected by the current global economy crisis and I think it is gonna hit my family biz even harder in 2012. Therefore, I am sorta in the process of working on biz-plan for my biz in 2012. If thing went as plan, I should be able to earn enough to give a hand on my family biz (not related to my current biz).

Life is tough and its gonna be tougher, at least for me. Hopefully next year will be a year of rainbow after the rain

How much is your salary?

Went out for lunch with friends today. My friend then ask one of the friend (girl) how much is her salary per month.

She said her salary per month is RM 1,000.

Me and my friends have a coffee session after the lunch then discuss about this matter. We are both doing business. 1K per month, we cannot survive definitely Installment for Vios also RM 1,100 dy.

With salary of RM 1,000 x 12 months = RM 12K per year only when we doing business people, we aim to earn min 10K to 40K per month.

What about your life?

For me, I plan to earn 20 to 40K a mth.

My expenses per month is maximum 5k (Car Installment + House Rental + Food + Travelling).

Currently working towards achieving that dream. Yours?

I manage to clear most of my debts this month, left around 20-30K only.

My parents are very proud of me now cause I've proven to them enough that I am better off choosing my own path. From how things are going, I should be earning as much as my parents are earning each month or maybe more in the coming future.

So, hows your story of life?

Hi & Good Day /k/ ~!!!

For those who followed on my previous topics. Its an update. I closed my shop last January 2011 and currently fully focus on my other businesses. Its been 2 months now since I close my shop and my debt is approximately 50K, not much but I guess its quite a lot.

I am currently 29 yrs old, came out to do biznes on my own the past 2 yrs. Therefore, this is my 3rd yr in biznes. The reason I quit my job was because I don't think working for others would pay me enough. Working for others could earn you a decent RM 2,000 to RM 5,000 a month and max, RM 10,000 i think. Therefore, it will take a very long time to earn 40K ringgit.

From my current planning, I should be able to clear off my debts by July 2011 and I am working towards earning 40K a month.

What about you all mate? Do you have similar planning or aim like me?

I personally think hor, Malaysian is one of the country that has most of the best guy in Asia.

In generalization,

Thai Guys: Lazy, Not Loyal, All they want from girls are sex and the girls to work and give em' moolah.

Japanese Guys: Arrogant.

And the list goes on ....

But for Malaysian Guys hor, GF want what ... we get for em'. Aren't they fortunate?

I guess this is why a lot of thai girls like m'sian guys.
