Can wira radiator put coolant

I'm driving wira 1.5 (M) 12 years old now.

Due to year lack sense of maintenance....the wira never changed radiator coolant.

The radiator coolant have been flush out by mechanic because radiator fan malfunction on 2007.

During that time ,i saw the coolant changed to white color liquid.Mechanic just poured the tap water into radiator.

Since after that all the time my wira was using the tap water in the radiator.

My car having serious overheat problem last year .......

The mechanic have changed :

1)Dual layer radiator

2)Upper and lower black hose

3)metal pipe couple to engine.

4)One 50 cent round metal at engine. They are total of 4 round metal.Other 3 metal slight rusted so mechanic just

changed 1 round metal only.

5)new water pump

6)new radiator cap

I suspect overheat problem were caused by clogged radiator and huge leak on radiator cap.My car ok after changed all the parts.

I have monitor the radiator water one month after changed all the parts. o.k.

Unfortunately ,after 7 months till today ,i opened the radiator cap,The cap was rusted with brown color.The water

having some light brown powder on it.

I know pour 50% coolant 50% water is thick ....will leak my cooling system.

How about pour say 300 ml or 500 ml coolant into the radiator ?

Wira want to change timing belt

My wira 1.5 manual (2001 year) reach almost second limit 80,000 km already.

Since the first 80,000 km timing belt changed....never change other belt.

I intend to change timing belt soon....this time want to change air cond compressor belt and alternator belt.

My question is ,need to change power steering belt or not ?

The power steering is light and not that heavy duty on loading.....

hifi speaker use as pc speaker

My brother have leave one pair of Mission 751 old speaker (sensitivity <no spam links>,6 ohm ) and speaker stand at the

living room .

I am thinking of buy one integrated amp like Marantz PM6004 and moved the speakers and stand to my bedroom for

pc used.

My question is the integrated amp sensitive enough to pick up the signal from my built-in sound card Soundmax

1986a from my amd pc ?

Anyone have try to use stereo hifi speaker as pc speaker ?

Please share your experience .....

Confuse 5.1 channel in ac3

I am using VLC media player to play the mp4 with ac3 5.1 channel now.

Since i have stereo pc speaker only,i choose audio device to stereo.The sound is o.k .

I have vey neutral and natural sound.

If i select audio device to "5.1 " ,I have very full body and powerful sound.I think i can

hear the surround sound with my stereo pc speaker already.

Is it the software combine the multichannel sound and downmix into the stereo speaker ?

If select with stereo mode ,the sound level is in low level.....

Vacuum tube radio amp

Anyone remember what is the brand for that vacuum tube radio amp ?

Its outlook very similar with sonic gear R601SW radio amp....

Paddle shift act like manual car

Can paddle shift car like New Honda City 1.5 drive like proton wira 1.5 manual car ?

Say,in traffic jam we used wira first gear to move the car from static .Let the car move a bit

then change to second gear.

How about the car like city with paddle shift ?

Used the way drive like mentioned above with paddle shift.....

Big advantage is without press the left clutch in honda city and comfort drive all the way.

Will this save fuel like wira 1.5 manual car during heavy traffic jam ?

Since i never drive paddle shift car before,please share ur experience.

air cond was off when driving

On Wednesday evening was heavy rain,when my car pass through the flooded water road....about 3 to 4 inches deep and 20 feets long along the road.....in fact is not that deep.....my car air cond was not blow cool air.

I am driving as normal just after pass through the flooded road.I am in dangerous because i can't see clearly after the windscreen .No cool air from the air cond.I just used the clothes to clean the windscreen at traffic light.

Luckily after the green light,i start to rev the engine and driving.

The air cond is back to normal.

I monitor my car's air cond for the past two days,it is o.k.

Anyone know what is the root cause for the air cond malfunction ?

How to check whether air cond gas is in low pressure ?

install win 7

I am using winxp and win 7 ultimate 64 bit now.

Since i still have empty partitions,i am thinking of install another win 7 32bit o.s.

My question is install the third win 7 will mess up my boot list or not ?

What will be look like about the boot list if i install the third win 7 o.s. ?

I am using asus m2npv-mx mobo with built-in geforce 6150 video card.
Ram 2Gb DDR2 667mHz and 1TB,buffer 32mb harddisk.
Amd dual core 3600+ ,2.0GHz cpu.

So I installed win 7 ultimate 64bits in my hd.
I have test to install winxp sp3 under win 7 with vmware.

I have set 900mb RAM for winxp sp3 under virtual machine.
Unfortunately,when i play some movie,mp4,rmvb and mkv format,it was lagging.
Every 5 or 6 seconds,the video playback is lag and jerk.Samething to the sound.It is not run smoothly.

In the real world,when i used winxp sp3 or win 7 ultimate 64bits playing movie with vlc player,I do not have such problem.Playing movie all the time was smooth.

May I know what cause the problem ? CPU or video card ?
I don't think hd got problem....since this is the latest design ,with buffer 32mb,it is fast and more than enough for nowadays technology.

change drive letter

My harddisk partitions are as below:-

c:\ OS winxp x64 (system)

d:\data

e:\OS winxp sp3

f:\data

g:\data

h:\data (primary)(active)

Pls notice h drive is primary partition,I think it suppose to be install winxp.I just store data files in it.

Can I rename h drive to c: drive and rename my c drive (which have Operating System winxp x64 on it) to h drive ?

I intend to install winxp sp3 in h drive mention above.

winxp boot list missing

I am successful installed win 7 ultimate 64 bits in my amd asus m2npv-mx mobo.I used 1Tb,32mb harddisk.Partitions as below:-

c:\ OS winxp x64 (system)

d:\data

e:\OS winxp sp3

f:\data

g:\data

h:\data (primary)(active)

When the hd is new,I used gparted to do the partitions.After completed to do the partitions,the drive letters are as above.I am not hd expert,so i just leave it like that.
As usual ,I install winxp x64 and winxp without any problem.Can used as usual.

I choose drive d: to install win 7.The problem is ,after completed install the win 7,my winxp and winxp 64 bits boot list was missing.

I can only used win 7 now.I used easybcd 1.7.2 to check,the software didn't detect the bootloader path: \ntldr .No earlier version windows.One win 7 only.

Is it my c: drive is in winxp x64 64bits causing the problem ?
Or my OS,winxp need to install in h drive ?(primary,active)

I suspect win 7 can't recognise my c drive which is using 64bits OS.Or c drive need active?

If you know,pls give some comments.Thanks.

Urgent! 1 long beep follow by 2 short beeps'

I am using asus m2npv-mx mobo now.It was bought almost 3 years ago.
I can't turn on my pc just now.

The problem is '1 long beep follow by 2 short beeps' ,i can't go into my bios page.

1)reset many times, chassis fan on,green LED mobo light on,CPU heatsink fan turn on,power supply fan on and keyboard can be detected during power on.Even can press the reset button.'1 long beep follow by 2 short beeps' still there.

2)i am using built-in geforce 6150 video card and dvi connection now.I though problem was the dvi video connector problem,so i changed it to vga connector ,but problem still the same.

Anyone know what is the problem and how to solve it ?

install windows 2000 in win xp

I am using amd dual core 3600+ ,ddr2 667mhz 2Gb and asus m2npv-mx mobo with winxp sp3 on my pc.
I want to give it a try ,install win 2000 on my pc now.I got one software that only work in win 2000.

I want to use Vmware workstation software to install it.

The problem win 98 or win 2000 require floppy disk a drive to install on the hd.

Nowadays pc where got use floppy disk.

I worry when start to install the win 2000 ,the installation process require me to

put a system disk at the floppy disk a drive in the beginning stage.....

My old floppy disk drives all spoilt already....

Will it ask to put a system disk when install win 2000?

Anyone know about this?

Winrar corrupted files

When i try to extract the mkv file from 23 rar files ,it show the file was corrupted.

After i check and found that :

no.1 to no.4 files in d partition.(NTFS )

no.5 to no.23 files in e partition.(FAT32)

I copy the 4 files from d partition(NTFS) and paste them into the folder which consists of no.5 to no.23 files in e parttition(FAT32).

When extract ,it show 4 files were error and show the file was corrupted.

My d partition was run out of space ,that's why i save other files in e partition and didn't know that they are different format.

Anyone know how to solve the problem ?

Unzip files got problem....

So I have unzip the download files,but after unzip all the files,there are two files having problem with the errors message " 1) Part34.rar:Packed data CRC failed in VIDEO_TS/VTS_01_4.VOB.The volume is corrupt.
2)Part41.rar:CRC failed in encrypted file VIDEO_TS/VTS_01_4.VOB(wrong password ?)

Before unzip,it require password,so i have type in the password then only it can unzip.

There are o lot of files after unzip....about 3.65 Gb. I have used powerdvd to watch the starting of the movie,seems like o.k.

Capacity of the rar files is 4.35 Gb.I think unzip of the whole files is incomplete.Usually is about 4.5Gb .

Do u guys think that i need re-download the part 34 and part 41 files ? Part 34 file i download from my old pc then used pen usb pen drive copy into my new pc.I download majority of the files with new pc.

I need some opinion.....Thanls in advance.

Add 2.1's subwoofer with av receiver

My HT system consists of 5.0 speaker with av reveiver without subwoofer.The back panel of the avr got one sub pre-out.I think it is mono rca out.

If the input of my 2.1 speaker's subwoofer system is RCA R and L input.Can i connect the sub pre out to subwoofer input ? (Assume that i use rca to female jack adapter).

The problem is the sub pre-out is mono out,the input of the 2.1 speaker's is in stereo input.

I am confused now.

Is it the correct way to do so.Pls help.

Can i use 19" widescreen monitor ?
