DNS Redirect

Assalamualaikum and greetings,

As suggested on the title, I know the concept if from domain to new URL. and even in offline mode, you can use the feature from the router itself eg. cisco brand.

the scenario in mind when the user connects to wifi, the browser will automatically forward to a certain ip to the pc/server that connects to the switches pysically.

the questions are:

a) if the hosting pc/server connects wirelessly to, say unifi's modem (netis dl4480v2), can I go for that scenario? (the pc has a wifi dongle's mac add will connect with static ip? if you need to change to a modem that has the dns redirect feature, what brand and model?

b) what is the xampp https's config setting for that setup (mysql involved)?

Improving signal on 900MHz and 2600MHz DIY

Hello,

Currently my house were at a low land (valley) surrounded by hills and thus affecting the signal quality for both voice and internet. Even the main signal itself, sometime got line and sometime no line at all.

So, I have been searching around and got a so-called solution for my problem that is by using microcell.

My question.

1. Can microcell supporting signal of both bands for all telcos in Malaysia?

2. From what I have read, the microcell were consist of indoor and outdoor unit. And the outdoor unit have to be installed in a small tower on the high land so that the indoor unit can 'ping' for the signal, but the outdoor unit NEED DC electricity in order to operate. So where can I get the power because it is quite a distance from the top of the hill to my house.

Got a suggestion? Or maybe you guys has homebrew before for a solution and succeed.

Electronic Drum Set

Hi all,

Has been playing drum on and off since 1995 starting by hitting on bunch of pillows and moved to traditional and electronic drum. So since now that I think maybe I can afford to having one, there's only one question keep in mind for quite sometime.

Actually, I'm staying in a crowded area (e.g. high rise building and terrace houses) and have no other option except to adopt the electronic version. So, the question is;

What is the brand of good electronic drum for me to buy based on this criteria?

-Part(s) can be added from time to time; (a complete 5 drum set and maybe later add 1 or 2 set of cymbals and can integrate and using the same output with the existing one);

-Supporting twin pedal.

Thank you in advanced, guys (and girls).
