It&#39;s the beginning of a new chapter in my life and some of you guys here that made it. The thing is, I come from a non-finance background and I have been working for quite a number of years in the non-financial sector. I would like to make the career switch into IB but I have some reservations about it. Hence I would appreciate advice from anyone to solve some of the questions I have below:<br /><br />1. When should I submit the relevant working experience log to the CFA Institute? Is it after going through the whole 4 years of required working experience or can I submit the log annually?<br /><br />2. What is the starting pay that I can command in any of the IB or asset management companies given that I have no relevant working experience but I&#39;ve completed all 3 levels of the CFA Program (some mentioned in the range of RM3,500 not less than that to as much as RM7,000)?<br /><br />3. It is mentioned that either one of your 2 sponsors for the CFA Charter must be your supervisor.
