RGA to 3.5mm - Problem?

Hi all,

I have a wireless headphone - where the receiver is connected to the source via a RGA to 3.5mm adapter.

My problem:
When i plug it into my PC's jack, i get no sound.
BUT
When i plug it into my laptop, phone and mp3 player - works okay.
(Heck, i plug it into my other PC, works fine)

HOWEVER,
When i plug my earphones, another set of headphones into my PC's jack - they work fine.

Do any of you experts have any idea what could be the issue?
Adapter problem?
