Unifi start barring line after 4 days past due?

Hi guys, just want to know if this is TM's new policy now? My unifi line was due on 22 Sept and TM barred my line on 27 Sept ( 4 days past due). They charge RM10 for reconnection which will appear in my next bill. I dont have any previous outstanding bill for Unifi. Just the current Sept bill. If this is so then Unifi have became worst than a prepaid line because you don't get charged to reactivate your line when you next top up.

While I do agree that its their right to bar outstanding lines, they should have better inform customers beforehand through the mainstream news before its implemented.

Asus K401UB

Couldn't find any tread on Asus K401UB ultrabook. I bought one today from Asus dealer, upgraded the ram & also to check on the mb. To my surprise & lengthy discussion with the retailer, our local model of K401UB does not come with 24GB ssd. Unlike the same model that is sold in Taiwan & Singapore which comes with the 24GB ssd in addition to 1TB hdd, the Malaysian model is void of the ssd. The empty half size msata ssd is there for us to insert.

Picture of taiwan model:
http://s26.postimg.org/ryd3yxio9/mobile01_...316fbd99ef0.png

Picture of local model & empty slot:
http://s26.postimg.org/z2ux7ypxl/WP_201603...8_28_45_Pro.jpg

So buyers beware of the missing ssd. There will be a big difference in performance without the 24GB ssd cache.

Found this posting in chinese:
http://www.mobile01.com/topicdetail.php?f=233&t=4682574

Plan to get 128GB half size msata ssd to test on this machine. If possible I prefer the Win OS to be on the ssd & leave the 1TB hdd for data files.

Lumia 920 poor electronics quality

Was hunting high & low for the Lumia 920 last week as my LG Optimus 7 konk after 3.5yrs. Finally managed to get a yellow colored one as its limited availability in the market. To my horror, at the 5th day of use, the phone just freeze while i was swapping the screen for an app. The screen remain frozen & pressing the hard reset buttons did nothing. All keys failed to respond. This is when I trully regret buying a phone that cant remove battery. Although WP rarely hang, it does & have experienced this couple of times during my 3.5 yrs of WP ownership. Send my phone to nokia SC & they didnt have a yellow phone for replacement. By this time the screen was off & still could not be switched on or hard reset. Feel damn pissed as its a new phone & I'm sure some of the electronic components of the phone had fried given the Symptoms. I didnt install app or charging when the phone failed. So unlikely a crash caused by app nor fried charging circuit. While the phone feels solid, Nokia still use poor quality components inside. Some of you may say perhaps I got a lemon, well if you understand manufacturing process & electronics, there is QC for each component. For a component to fail so early, there is lack of QC for it. So I'm sure I won't be alone on this cause the same poor quality component is going to be inside every Lumia sold.

Yahoo...finally managed to get my Samsung Ativ 500T at Lowyat yesterday after a long & frustrated wait from the launch of Win 8. Understand only limited units available....

So far the unit is running great & no complain on the build quality.

I'm keen to buy Acer w510 as well but there is no stock available as of yesterday. OEMs are really slow in bring in tablets this time.
