Hi guys, I need your opinions about these 2 card coz my hd6870 dead already. Budged around RM800.
I notice that R9 280 is HD7950. So, which one should I get?. Priority for gaming.

Zotac GTX760 2GB AMP! Edition - RM859
MSI R9 280 3GB Twin Frozr iv – RM849

Laptop budget below RM2500
- For elder sister, she is a teacher
- Office use like word and excel
- Internet use
- not for gaming, maybe some flash games (facebook)
- battery life is not a priority, if can span around 2 hour is ok.

Recommend me any brands that is the best. Thank you for your help.

[WTA] Mobo Problem

When I turn on PC no beep sound heard. The CPU fan, PSU fan, and other fan (artic cooling f12) on. And also no red laser from mouse. The monitor wire connect correctly to GPU but no screen (black). It is my mobo die completely? Still new about 4 month, buy from viewnet.

My PSU silverstone strider 500w, Want to ask, is normal that when I plug in the connector wire (plug) to the PSU sound "zzzzzzz". Not yet switch on the PC. When PC switch on, no buzzing sound. Normal or not. Could it damage the other component? Should I change the PSU? Since today no other problem happen to the other component.

First time buy assemble PC
Just buy a new PC
Below my spec

CORE I5 2400
MSI H67MA-E35 B3
SAPPHIRE 6870 1GB vapor x
Hitachi 500GB
Corsair DDR3 1X4GB
LiteOn DVD-RW 24X SATA
CM ELITE 430
SILVERSTONE STRIDER 500W
LG E2050T led 20' monitor

The shop worker assemble all the component but do not install the windows and driver.
So, I install it myself. The problem is the screen blank and did not prompt anything.
DVI-D and D-SUB from the monitor already connected to the mobo. But the screen black.
How to install the OS for the first time ? help please

Any link or website i need to learn?
